My dogs, favorite toy
I don’t write many reviews, but these are my dogs, favorite toys! I’ve gotten other toys that are supposedly indestructible and she has destroyed them within a week. She is a dachshund and she’s had these for two months, and they are still intact and still even have their squeakers. Usually her goal is to get the squeaker out as soon as possible. She treats these little bones like they’re her babies, she takes them everywhere. She acts like a puppy again! I would say I would buy them again, but I don’t anticipate having to buy them for a while because she hasn’t chewed a hole in any of them.

Super Chewer
Do you have a super chewer?? You know that dog that can destroy every toy you buy despite what the company advertises about their product? Tired of spending 10 bucks (plus/minus) on toys that last minutes? Whatever Hartz is using for this series of toys lasts!! They have a whole series of different shapes. I have bought several and my dog (55 pounds of trouble...umm Belgium mal/lab) loves them. They only toys I have found in two years that actually last. Thank you Hartz!

Favorite is an understatement
My dog loses his mind when he gets a new bacon ball. He is obsessed with them. He's spoiled and gets several a week. Yes he can tear it apart in a second, and sometimes he does. The toy eventually gets shredded every single time. Thats part of the fun for him. I see some 1 star reviews saying its not durable enough. I don't get it. Dogs rip apart toys. It's what they do.

Really is indestructible
My corgi has destroyed every toy he has had, even those that are claimed to be indestructible. He chews through Kong toys even. These are the best quality. He loves that he can make it squeak. He has tried his best to get to that squeaker but after a month, not a knick in the ball, bone or other shaped toy!

Visions of his new Christmas HARTZ bone dancing in his head, my dog jumps from the bed!
The media could not be loaded. My dog has a million toys, but he just can’t put down this one squeaky bone by Hartz. It isn’t just good for sore gums, it isn’t just fun to squeak and play fetch with, unlike any other bone that I have come across it actually smells like bacon, and not obnoxiously so, but my dog sniffs it out anywhere and will sit with it between his paws sometimes just sniffing it and licking it, its hilarious, you can’t hide it from him like his other toys. He gets a new one every Christmas and I can’t put it under the tree untill Christmas morning. He goes crazy though from the moment its delivered because he knows what’s in the Amazon package! If you really want your dog to love you, go with this bone, it’s that bacon smell, they just can’t get enough! I promise you will get endless entertainment watching your dog with this toy! This is a video from last Christmas Eve after having wrapped the bone and placed it in the top of my closet I put the box it came in, in the laundry room, he couldnt sleep thinking the bone was in reach just watch!

Great toys!
My dogs aren't super destructive chewers like others may be. But with 4 moderate chewers these toys are a cost effective and super fun toys for the whole pup family. Literally everyone's favorite toy.

Perfect for your Little Cuties
Our pack enjoys this toy so much we've ordered it in every colour and then some. Pictured here, Walt the Dachshund is giving it a gentle lift in his JAWS OF DEATH. Walt identifies as a heavy chewer. He is a 1 year old and has a healthy body size and image (about12 pounds, plus or minus a good poop). His brothers also enjoy it. The toy I mean. Get your mind out of the gutter. Big Brother Fudgie, an energetic 10 year old Yorkie who plays an insatiable game of catch, is an iffy 8 pounds with a small, narrow snout, and carries it well. Big but-not-as Big (well, if by big we mean age, not size, which we do, mean age, because Bronx is older than Walt but younger than Fudge, by about 6 years if I'm not mistaken, and no, no follow up questions. Bronx is physically big (16lb shih-tzu) but in spirit he's nothing but a sweet widdle guy, pure love and playfulness. You wouldn't guess it now, but Bronx was the runt of his litter and is visually impaired. He's clumsy but confident, he can't track a toy through the air, but once Walt or Fudgie has it, Bronx is on the hunt and the real game begins! Bronx may not see well but he gets around just fine. He's been a great support to Walt, who also has a visual difference. One of Walt's eye sockets is too small, a congenital birth defect that leaves him blind in that eye. Walt's eye may not see but he's just one of the guys - he loves white cheddar popcorn, racing around the kitchen island, and plotting against his arch nemesis, who lives inside my MIRRORED jewelry hutch. In short: these are good buys, good value. The neon makes them easy to see against a white snow backdrop, so retrieval (because dogs always stop playing one round before you do, making you the idiot who has to go pick up the ball he just threw) is relatively painless, depending on which shoes you wore. I've bought multiples. You might too. ***Full disclosure: Walt actually has a Big, Bigger, Biggest Brother, Herbie, also a shih-tzu, and the 12 year old/ 12lb insouciant leader of our pack. He was omitted from the review because Herbie does not engage with this toy through no fault of the toy's. Herbie is simply too cool to play with toys. Ever since he first became a Big Brother (RIP Gertie, we miss you girl), Herbie stopped his immature habits and henceforth never did look at another toy in quite the same way. Herbie is above toys, yes, but he also exists in a plane beyond toys. It's a lifestyle choice and perhaps a spiritual belief of sorts. But as it is universally applied to toys of each and every kind, without fail, it shows no poor reflection on, or indeed any reflection at all, upon this particular toy. So I thought it unfair to include. Except in footnote. Although I've indicated the footnote with an asterisk since I'm too lazy to look up how to do a little number. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Molding Product!
I had given this product to my Pomeranian and in less than two months, and tones of washing and cleaning. The product developed mold on the inside of it due to the small holes that it has on both ends. I would not recommend buying this product for a small or large dog. As there is a high percentile of chance of the dog's toy developing mold on the inside of it. I wish I had actually taken a picture for this review. As this is a health risk to your fur baby. I truly feel that this particular item should be removed from amazon! It is also not often that I give a bad review on Amazon but this one needed to be done, so others know what they are getting themselves into.

Not for focused chewers
This toy would last my mellow 50lb collie dog for months, she likes to chew a bit and throw it around and sniff it a lot but then moves on. She's a good dog. My beagle/dachshund mix is too obsessed with toys. He found where the noise came from and set apart destroying the source. It did not take him 4 whole minutes. This toy is not durable in any way, your dog must be the type to let it live if you want it to last more than half an hour. If your dog is the type to not stop once they've started, don't start them on this toy. Best for gentle play dogs.

Don’t buy!!!
My two tiny Boston terriers had one bone each and had them destroyed within 4 mins - and I’m not joking they were able to rip them apart and there was styrofoam all over my couch - I’m so mad because I read such good reviews and they didn’t last - horrible I will never buy again save your money!

The best!
We had the ball and it’s lasted forever so decided to get the bone one. These are THE BEST!! She plays and chews them and they last. Nothing else has survived more than a day. I will be getting the other shapes next!
