Great sticks, but need a 6 pack to get to proper height
Pros: These sticks are super light weight, yet sturdy. They click together nicely. Easy to strap to the tree Quiet Cons: Need 5 of them to get to 20 feet up Have already broken a snap

Lightweight and holds on strong
I really like this climbing stick I'm using it as my one sticking option. With this stick and a 3 step aider I'm getting about 6' per move. It's pretty easy to hit the steps in the dark not too far spread apart so even with bulky clothes it works. So far it seems to be pretty strong no complaints there I'm 280 pounds pounds and it works fine for me. The aider was able to clip radiant to the holes in the footsteps it works great. So far it is bit into every tree pretty well that I've put it on. The strap is easy to use and doesn't have any slip or stretch that I can tell. For one sticking occasionally it holds on a little bit too strong which is not a bad thing really. So far the only sign of wear and tear it has is the paint is chipping in some places not the best paint. Overall it does what it needs to do I feel safe and stable. It works great.

Overall great quality.
Just used for the 1st time last week to hang a stand. They are made well and connect together fairly easy. What I did not like were the hanging straps, you couldn't tighten strap enough because it uses stitched loops in the strap to adjust it. The problem is this gives to much slack and the bottom of the step kicks off the tree. I always harness Period so its wasn't an issue except the gripped steps wrenched in my hands as I was coming down. I also use a set of Lone Wolf sticks and they use a cam buckle strap that can be tighten to prevent the bottom step kicking out. I will probably replace with the Lone Wolf straps.

Easy quick climbing sticks
These are good climbing sticks, although the suction cup system is trash as everyone else has said. The straps are ok and will work, but the locking ones are much better. 3 of them will get you about 15 feet in the air. I would suggest going ahead and buying 4 if you like to be up a little higher

Would be 5 Stars BUT...
Would be 5 stars but after reading 6 pages of red warning labels, I failed to read the warning about the suction cup holding so tight that when it finally lets go, it hits you in the eyeball. Trimming the tab edge inside the suction cup helps relieve some of the pressure, but be sure to not sit back on your razor knife because the small cut to your butt will bleed on the bedsheets and your wife'll get er dandruff up! Anyway, I would definitely purchase the product again once I pay off the ER room bill for the stitches and tetanus shot.

Suction cups
I have not had these on a tree yet but wanted to talk about the suction cup issue. I bought the 3 pack and the rubber suction buttons where a very soft rubber and no problem getting them in and out in 75 degree weather those were made in china. I ordered a single noticed it was made in Vietnam and the rubber was totally different way harder material. I read on a different sight someone dremeled out the lip on the female part of the suction cup so I did that and now they go in stay in and I can remove them easily without breaking the hardware. Hope this helps someone as it’s helped me. I’ll update my review when I test them on a tree this weekend.

I really wanted to like these, but...
I bought these hoping to replace my XOP's. I like the idea of only having to cary 3 sticks rather than the 4 smaller XOP's. I really like everything about these steps except for the stand-off from the tree. They just don't provide much room to place your feet. When standing on these steps, I'm almost on my toes. Had i not already had the XOP's to compare them to, I probably wouldn't have given it much thought. My recommendation to Hawk would be to increase the stand-off from the tree. The XOP's give me close to double the distance than these heliums. I did a review on YouTube if you would like to check it out. Amazon won't allow me to post the link to this review, but it's titled "XOP extreme climbing sticks VS Hawk Helium 30 in 3 steps"

Damaged and missing stand offs
Box had clearly been a previous return. The stick didn't have any stand offs on it and it was banged up pretty good. Also missing the versa button. So its pretty much a stick of aluminum. I'm guessing someone stripped it of usable parts and sent it back.
