Sturdy, quality bag with surprising amount of room
Absolutely love this bag. I purchased it to use as my hospital bag for when I go into labor and it's able to fit a few days worth of my stuff plus the baby's, with room for extras like a large toiletry bag, my hair dryer, and a pair of shoes. I can definitely see myself using this as an overnight bag in the future or even a diaper bag for extended travel. It's my first Herschel so I wasn't sure about the quality but it's great. I was worried that something super trendy would be lower quality but this is not the case. The light grey is really pretty, although I'm a bit worried about its getting dirty. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. I do wish there was at least a small pocket on the inside for some small things, but instead I bought the carry-on dopp kit to go inside to hold stuff like that. Should be fine. Overalla great bag that I highly recommend.

Good enough
After having and using this bag for college and some traveling for a year now, it's pretty decent. I get a lot of compliments on the styling, even though I don't think it's anything overly special. It holds all my books, my laptop, a water bottle and pencil case with some room to spare, even without expanding it. It could benefit from some small pockets inside because anything small you put inside seems to get lost and you end up rummaging around for ages looking for it and I don't always feel comfortable putting things in the outer pockets, as there's no way to secure them inside. It can get uncomfortable carrying it on your shoulder if it's a little heavy and I find that one of the straps always tends to slip off. And don't expect to keep the leather zipper accessories for long because they'll come undone and get lost forever. But, even with all that being said, out of all the bags I've tried for school, it's been the best so far.

OBSESSED!
I’m a CNA who works 16 hour shifts, so I bring a lot of stuff with. I purchased the black bag for winter and I couldn’t be more impressed with the quality and looks. Simple but cute. Looks expensive. The best part is that it doesn’t look bulky or loud and you wouldn’t expect the inside to be so roomy but it is.the The outside pockets are discrete but super handy and secure. I wouldn’t say the bag is stiff at all. It’s just sturdy.

WORTH THE MONEY!
I’m obsessed! This is exactly what I needed in my life. I needed a new weekender bag and I found this beauty, a little more than I wanted to spend but after reading other reviews, I just went for it. And let me tell you, I’m not regretting a single thing. I EASILY fit my computer, two notebooks, two outfits, a small makeup bag and a water bottle (in the front pocket). I had room to spare for at least another outfit and a pair of shoes, if not more! GET IT NOW

Amazing Bag!
I read reviews and decided I would get this bag, and I am so glad I did. I wasn't sure if I would be happy at the price point, but needed something for international travel, and now I am in love with this bag!!! This could easily double as a weekender bag. I put books, devices, two pairs of clothes, shoes, and toiletries in this bag for carry-on in case my big luggage got lost/ delayed at my destination, and it is super roomy, stylish and sturdy. I know a few mentioned lack of pockets, but I used all the exterior ones and then used little zip up cosmetic type bags and mini packing cube to keep my stuff organized, and it was actually easier to grab a mini bag (as opposed to digging in deep pockets) to access what I needed. Don't think twice and just go ahead and get this. You won't be sorry!

Perfect for after work clothes
Just order another one the bag is perfect for traveling me personally for after work clothes. Spring is around the corner hiking after work fits at least 2 pairs of clothes 1 shoes and or a jaket and my yeti 36oz bottle.

Awesome bag but you should be aware of 2 things..
I love this bag.The Denim/Chambray look is awesome. it complements my wardrobe and it can carry a lot of stuff for my commute. However, there are two things you should be aware of though. A: Bag inside does not have any compartments. if thats is important to you then, it will be a deal breaker as small things tend to move around while in transit. You will spend some time digging around looking an item (if its small) B: you will loose the little leather tassels on the zippers of you don't keep an eye on them. They add a very nice accent to the bag, but they will tend to "un loop" themselves and eventually fall off. I have to check them when I zip up the bag This is my first bag duffel bag. I ended up getting 3 more at different colours. Nice one Herschel!

I like the bag overall. You can tell it’s made of good quality however I took a star off for the shoulder straps. They are not flexible which makes it hard to put on your shoulder and hard to stay on. Also there should be a small pocket inside the bag for small items but it just one big bag. Size is perfect for a weekend!

Groß, leider ohne Seitentaschen
Die Tasche ist optisch sehr schön und groß, für einen 2-3 Tage Trip kann man sie benutzen, wenn man eher nicht so dicke Kleidung einpackt. Schade finde ich, dass es kein einziges Innenfach gibt. Es fliegt halt alles in der Tasche rum, grade für Kleinkram wie ein Akkukabel oder einen Schlüssel wäre ein Seitenfach gut gewesen.

Quality good but the handle is very stiff the material is very hard and the space is not wide enough and very heavy material the weight is like equivalent of 2 books because of the handle.

Perfect.
This is exactly what I wanted. It is the perfect size for a carryon. It’s light weight and very roomy. I know most are using it as a diaper bag but it definitely has many other uses . I noticed that other reviews mentioned there is no interior pocket . That could be an improvement,but I am completely satisfied with this bag . It is a quality piece.
