Privacy increases and heat decreases

I love that I can have the blinds open without loosing privacy!! This product was easy to put up once you figured out how. The instructions on the box are different than whats on amazon. The film comes off as you are putting it on, not after. The heat level really decreased but still enough light for my African Violets to bloom.

Nice privacy film

The privacy film was a very nice - not flimsy and fairly easy to install. It is installed on a bathroom window and is a nice frosted look - cannot see thru it, especially at night. However, after a month a few edges have pulled away a bit - maybe we didn't press down the edges well enough. So far, still happy with it.

Energy saver with a good look

It took awhile to get around to installing, but the difference was immediately noticeable. Our foyer is much cooler now and the AC runs less. The whole room/area feels more comfortable and the privacy is helpful too. Importantly, the appearance from outside is not much different. You can’t see inside but it’s hard to tell what you are/aren’t seeing. There’s no glare or obvious mirror effect visible from the street. If my wife would let me, I’d put this stuff on half the windows in the house and I bet our energy costs would drop 30%.

Not Bad

Mostly easy to install (I'm a woman who did it on her own). Spray the window with soapy water, lay the film over it, press air bubbles out, done. Great for privacy, unsure if it keeps my apt cooler (that was the goal). Fine product.

Keeps prying eyes from seeing in

I have some nosey kids next door that don’t know about privacy. When they come over they knock and press their faces up against the glass to see in my house. So I got this to keep prying eyes from seeing into the house. I was able to install this in about 5-10 mins. I used a spray bottle with some water and dawn and it worked perfect. I totally recommend this product

just what we wanted

this product is great and is so much easier than the type we used in the past. we used it in our garage windows so that we can let light in without people being able to peek inside to see if our cars are there and therefore know if we are home. It looks great and it works great and couldn't be easier.

Great for sliding glass door privacy

I used this for some extra privacy at our apartment on the sliding glass doors. It actually seems a bit brighter than before! I did not buy a kit to install, but realized that you definitely want to spray well underneath while you install. It makes it much more smooth and made all the difference. Great product! With mistakes it took 20 mins to install.

See the daylight, but keep your privacy.

Good product. In my case, I applied it to a door and two windows where light was desired during the day while affording privacy day and night with no hassles. This product delivered. I am no expert, but I found installation easy. I actually went to the Home Depot and got the installation kit made by Gila and it worked great.
