Rusted out after 2 years - be sure and drain in winter
There are plenty of reviews explaining this is a functional shower, easy to install, and works fine. However, the materials are "questionable," "feel cheap," and the like. The mateirals feel cheap because this is a pretty cheap unit. Thre is a small screw at the bottom for draining the water out of the fixture. In winter, I turn the water off and open the valves, but I have not drained it. This is a mistake in this lower-cost unit. This year, in my 3rd winter (bought summer 2020), the goose neck simply fell off. The shower had rusted from the inside at the connection between the goose neck and the valves. Since I did not drain it, the freeze ultimately broke the pipe. However, I'm giving the product 3 stars because it rusted out from the inside. It should not have done that. And, with the valves open and the water off for months, the pipe should not have broke. Moreover, rust was and is visible inside the unit. Therefore, this review has 2 points: 1. Drain it when not in use for an extended period of time, especially in winter if you live in an area that gets below freezing. 2. The materials match the low price. This is an inexpensive shower that lasted 2.5 years outside in Texas. Today, I'm buying another one because of the price and in hopes that if I drain it every winter, it will last me more than 2.5 years. I'll let you know if even after draining it in winter, it still rusts out quickly. I'm betting $60 today that it will last longer through draining it in winter.

Working Well
This is a decent shower head. I don’t think you could ask for much more for the price. The valve system is surprisingly solid and heavy. The knobs are cheap feeling. The riser/goose neck is decent. The head feels very cheap. I took out the flow limiter in the head as others suggested and it works fine. I’ll probably replace it with one of the showers head from inside my house once I get around to upgrading those. The head to the riser/goose neck connection is the only place that had the slightest leak for me because it was impossible to tighten the head enough before it deformed and skipped the threads. I also find the goose neck portion surprisingly short. In order to get the head at the right height, the knobs had to be just above 4’ off the ground. Any higher and my 5 year old would not be able to operate them herself. They feel oddly high when using them too. I used washer and dryer line to hook up to a PEX drop ear that I put in. I wanted to share a picture of the adapter part needed to facilitate this connection. It’s a 3/4” MHT on the shower valve side to a 1/2” MIP on the W/D hose side. Hope that will help alleviate some people‘s concerns; while people posted nice pictures of their setups in the other reviews, I had a hard time seeing how the actual connection was accomplished. All in all it really was easy enough a cave man could could do it. Give it a try if you've always wanted an outdoor shower and aren’t so sure about it. Worst thing that can happen is you’re out $50. No big deal. Enjoy!

As basic as it gets, but materials are questionable
Completely rusted out in 6 months, must be replaced Installed this over the weekend with some pex as a temporary outdoor shower. Works fine, but you'll definitely want to replace the shower head immediately. The one that it ships with is pitiful. My big concern is the rusty water I'm getting from the hot water side of the valve. I disassembled the system to see what was going on, and you can see that it's already rusting inside the hot water side of the valve. I used brass Shark Bite fittings and it's a home run w/ pex to the copper hot water loop - so it's not the plumbing. If it gets worse, not sure what I'll do, since this is a temp setup.

As expected using as outside dog shower
Just finished installing this today. I'm planning on using it to wash our dogs outside or in garage that has a drain during winter. I had a great dane which we washed in our personal shower but he scratched it up. he passed so bathing a big dog wash not a issue because we only had small dogs left. We ended up rescuing a Irish wolfhound and he hates cold water and local per washing stations are not big enough plus he doesn't exactly fit in a regular shower. Its simple and not high end just simple. Used pex then a 90° spigot so I can make sure it doesn't leak. Washed dog today after installing he was happy it was warm water on a hot day.

It works but I wish the quality was better
There aren’t many alternatives for this product. I use it in an outside shower at the shore. I switched the shower head with the plug and mounted it upside down so the water inlets were entering from the bottom. It worked fine, and looked great for 1 season. Looked very weathered when next season started. Had to replace it.

About what I expected for the price
This is a pretty much basic barebones surface mount shower. I installed mine in my bathroom because I wanted a separate shower head. Completely independent of the tub fill. For that purpose that works just fine. As other reviews pointed out the plastic shower head went in the trash. The Riser tube is quite loose when screwed into the base. It took a lot of Teflon tape. I mean A LOT… to prevent it from leaking on both ends. There are no mounting screws included. But I had a box of anchors so that wasn't a big deal. Considering the price it's a worthy product. Just expect a few challenges during installation as far as leaks go until you get it sealed up. Once you get that done you're golden

Missing parts
It looks like a great shower, but it was missing the inset screws and the bracket that holds the hand-held shower wand can't be tightened and continues to slide down the shower pole. I tried to contact the seller to get these parts replaced, but there is no direct way to do this via Amazon. It's taken over a month for my plumber to install this outside, and now I'm not sure it will even have it working before the summer is over. I'm extremely frustrated over something that was to be a fun addition to the "back yard escape."

Disappointing Machning
Nice looking product, however, the neck tube would not get tight with the nozzle facing the correct direction. I have to leave it loose and it drips water.

Expect this shower to last only a few years. But good value and works well.
** UPDATE ** So I took the showerhead out of storage and installed it in our outdoor shower. Note this is the 2nd shower kit we purchased to replace the first one. This shower kit lasted one season. The shower is leaking from the mixer. It has corroded so much in less than a year that the kit is not useless. I have reached out to the company for a warranty. I don't understand why the company does not treat the inside of the shower kit so that it does not rust. That is the issue everyone is having! If someone knows of an alternative, please let me know. I hate having to buy something I know will fail. ** Original Review ** This outdoor shower is pretty good for the price. That being said the shower only lasted 3 years for us. We had to buy a replacement. This is our 2nd purchase. The shower stem rusts at where it threads into the base. It's too bad the threads were not properly treated so it doesn't rust. Otherwise it's good quality. It's a shame we had to buy a whole new unit. Everything else is well built!

Rusts
Nice shower with the exception of the actual up-pipe which has rusted within 2 months of installation. Which is a shame because all the other bits have remained shiny and clear. Once fitted you cannot remove said up-pipe either...

I couldn't find the right fitting to connect to a garden hose, not the companies fault. Looked like high quality product though!
