Got my clock a few days ago its beautiful the sound is gorgeous we love it!

Nice clock, BUT...

The clock I received had been previously used. Given that I got a great price on it, I figured I'd overlook that as I simply had to scrub it up and touch it up a bit. THEN, I realized that all of the tunes are prerecorded: This clock isn't actually chiming, it's playing recordings of chimings, of other music, of christmas music. To top things off, if you set it to the Westiminster chimes, it doesn't chime out the hour. Also, you can't set one specific selection (other than the Westiminster chimes) as the hourly chime: In each of the other categories (e.g classical or christmas selections) this clock will run through the pre-programmed tunes one by one on the hour. All in all a good idea that's poorly executed. AND, this clock was listed as being shipped to me by Amazon LLC, so I was shocked to have received a previously used/opened item (it was covered with greasy fingerprints, there were several small dings where paint was missing, and both the box and the batteries were opened/unsealed when I received the clock. BOTTOM LINE: If you're looking for an entry-level, musical clock this may be it (if you don't mind pre-recorded music). Otherwise, based on the above, I'd suggest you look elsewhere.
