Dealing with manufacturer regarding defective unit. Excellant experience.
Purchased 2 of them in Oct. 2021. Only used during dry periods in the winter. Only use distilled water. Although purchased over a year ago, use has been far less than a half year. One of the units started buzzing this Christmas weekend, and barely pushed the vapor up the tube. Price in the meantime have almost doubled. Tell me why I should purchase this item again. Other unit is so far fine, but I am now nervous. Will be contacting the manufacturer in the morning. FOLLOWUP: Contacted the manufacturer the following morning. After a couple of support assisted fixes, the unit was determined to be defective. Manufacturer covered unit under warranty and a new one arrived in four days. Now that is Customer service! ! ! I would have been apprehensive at buying a replacement, but with the manufacturer standing behind their product, I would gladly invest in their product again. Kudos to the support assistant who was most professional, and personable at the same time.

Hard to fill
I had a Vicks ultrasonic and loved it, so when my husband accidentally broke the tank, I wanted another, and thought that this was it, (my mistake). The other one could be refilled from the top, and it was really easy. This one has to be taken off the base, turned over, cover unscrewed, re-filled, and the process reversed. The water in the bottom of the unit spills if you aren't careful. The tank is smaller, so although I run it on it's lowest setting it goes through a whole tank every night. I would like to run it higher but it would run out of water within a short time. I like it okay but wished I had the other one back. I have thought about trying to drill a hole in the top so I could just fill it that way but am afraid I'll crack the tank. It does work as it should, and it is very quiet.

Defective unit rec'd, fan noise was LOUD, past units were quieter.
The media could not be loaded. On previous units this model was nice and quiet. This unit the fan was very loud. I do believe the unit I received was defective. - The attached video while watching on the phone used to record it played the sound correctly, the sound on a web browser is much lower. There is no way you could sleep with this in the same room. - Thank Goodness for Amazon's refund policy. - That said, the humidifier will go two or maybe even three nights(sleeping time) on a tank fill. The tank size is nice and easy enough to fill. You do have to flip it upside down to fill it, so full of water it weighs a little bit.

Smooth, Quiet and Dependable
I love when something is exactly what they promise! Right out of the box I had it up and running in minutes. I have had a scratchy throat and mucous build up before I got this. Since running it I am able to function without any scratchy throat and mucous is thinning to allow me to blow it out. I do videos daily and I was having trouble with my throat getting itchy and scratchy even after a few minutes. That stopped after running this system the same day. Update: I liked it so much I bought two. One for my upstairs office and one for my bedroom for sleeping. I am now able to clear everything. Almost no coughing. With winter and forced heat its a must have.

This unit has flaws, but Customer Service came through in the end
I have edited my initial review, and have upgraded my initial negative opinion and added a star to the review. After some delay Customer Service finally provided me with a replacement unit, so this is an update to the negative comments I made and have now deleted as unnecessary to this review. This item actually works OK, and produces a steady stream of humidified air; however, there are a few issues I've found with the unit that make it less than ideal. The fill plug on the bottom of the water tank becomes harder and harder to remove after a few fills. Those with limited hand strength will not be able to remove the plug without some sort of tool. Then there's the awkward way the water tank sits on a countertop while filling. The top is rounded and there is no way the tank will sit flat when turned upside down while filling, instead tilting and moving around. That makes it a bit difficult to fill, and I've spilled water in the process of filling several times.

Serves its purpose
I live in New England. My apartment gets horribly dry in the bitter winter months. With my budget and size of my apartment I didn’t think it was realistic to find a single humidifier for my whole home, but I got this for my living room space to help me and my plants with the dry air. It’s quiet, offers a considerable mist, and essentially does exactly what I wanted it to do. It’s not too bad to clean. Refilling does leave some water to be wiped up… The only real downside is the lack of an automatic shut off. There’s no “set it and forget it,” you have to actually watch the water level throughout the day. Overall, for what I paid, it does exactly what I needed and I’m not disappointed by the purchase.

This is an all around great humidifier.
If you're looking for a good all around humidifier then this is it. It's super quiet where you can have it running in the bedroom and it also has a large capacity of water so you don't have to refill it very often. On full blast the water tank will last for about 20-26 hours at about 35% humidity but on the lower setting I've had it last almost 2 days sometimes. As far as cleaning goes it looks pretty easy but I've only been using RO water and find the need to clean it once every 3 months or so. If you're using tap water you might want to clean it a lot more often to clean out the deposits.
