Huge value for the money

Arrived quicker than expected. Instructions were superb. Packaging was excellent and all small parts were logically separated according to assembly stages. Overall quality and design are impressive, especially at this price point. First I installed a fan-rated junction box from Home Depot for a safe mounting point to start with (you don’t want to take any shortcuts with a ceiling fan). Then, I took my time installing it to ensure quality results. Had the usual re-reads of the instructions at certain points where it seemed a little tricky (to be expected), but nothing an experienced DIY’er can’t cope with, and the documentation was accurate and got me through those areas. When I threw the switch for the first time I got some wobble on the high setting, but again took my time with the supplied balancing kit to ferret out where the stick-on weights would go, and now there is absolutely no wobble at all at any speed. The fan is super quiet and smooth — such a huge upgrade over the very good freestanding fans we’ve been used to. On the high-speed setting we can hear the air moving a bit, because it’s moving a substantial amount of air, but it is still very quiet. However, on the middle-speed setting it is dead quiet, while still moving an impressive amount of air. This is a bedroom install, so I doubt we’ll go past the middle speed setting, which is absolutely perfect. On an added note, the fan blades were a pleasant surprise (white on one side and beech/maple wood print on the other). Thought the whole thing would be white, but opted for the wood print instead to accentuate the blades and break up the all-white look, and it went well with our Scandinavian furniture. The frosted light shades were a pleasant surprise, too. Not a bit gaudy, thankfully; the whole presentation would actually blend well with just about any decor — not overly modern, but also not overly ornate. Now I’m thinking of repeating this process for our two other bedrooms (offices), which get a lot of direct sun in the afternoon. Definitely opting for this exact same model. Just an excellent product for anyone who is up for installing it correctly. Thank you, Hunter, for producing such a well thought out product at a reasonable price.

Beautiful fan

Hired from Angi fixed pricing and guy showed up and installed it and dimmable wall outlet. Well when turned light on then turned fan on the light would turn off. So called Volz electric in st louis mo and they sent out Ed which said first guy from Angi installed the wiring inside the fan housing incorrectly. The Volz guy fixed it and I love the light. It dims perfectly and the fan on high really moves the air nicely. I was afraid it wouldn't because description says cfm is 2034. But it is all I needed. Love the fan and light. Oh yes and the bulb they include is dimmable and on high is very bright. When I want to rest, I put it on low so mom can see TV and I can rest. When reading it is bright enough to see clearly. Highly recommend, and is a great value, plus the fan is really whisper quiet. If there is a noise then it is not installed correctly.

Awesome, would buy again

Amazing fan for the price. Easy to install, really quiet (can have fan on high and it doesn't disturb a sleeping baby), bright lighting. It comes with its light bulbs, it is so bright in a 10' x 10' bedroom that we unscrew one bulb. The chains have a picture of a fan or a light bulb so you know which pull is which. It doesn't come too far down from the ceiling either so not bumping into the blades when I put on a shirt. Great for a bedroom. Wonderful alternative to staying cool in a house with no A/C. 10/10 would buy again for every bedroom in a house. This is now my "go to" fan for remodels/renovating.

Hunter does a great job!

I have replaced all 5 ceiling fans in my house at one time or another (some more than once when I bought a different brand) which is how I became a 'fan'of Hunter fans, pun intended. Their instructions are easy to follow and they code everything so you can't use the wrong parts. And the prices have always been reasonable. Go Hunter!

Looks beautiful and nothing else!

I thought I was getting a deal with this fan, especially with all the great reviews, however I am very disappointed with it. It's very quiet and looks beautiful, but it gives off very little breeze. I even had to make sure it wasn't in reverse! Anyway....will not buy again.

Mi pedido llegó muy rápido, mucho antes de la fecha compromiso. El ventilador es muy silencioso, da mucho aire y además estético. Lo único que no fué de mi completa satisfacción es que los tornillos del ventilador son color acero y en la foto se ven blancos.
