A+ Fan with a C- Remote Control

I would buy 4 more if the remote wasn’t so crummy. Up and down speeds require you to repeatedly hit the up or down arrow. The light and fan functions aren’t seamless to tell which you have activated at a time. But the fan is whisper quite. The delay from the blades spinning is due to the DC motor, it says. Fine by me. Light years quieter than any of my other 4 AC ceiling fan motors.

Quiet fan, works well

Fan was installed in the master bedroom and replaced a prior fan that was about 35 years old. Once installed it worked well and did everything expected. It was a bit tricky to install and troubleshoot when it did not work initially. It would have been better to have a second set of manual controls (pull chains) so we could have determined if our problem was with the remote or with the fan itself. I also would have liked to have been able to operate the light from the wall switch while keeping constant power to the fan, but the two could not be separated.

Nice fan but that light kit….

The fan seems to be good quality and runs very smoothly. I would say there are two issues. The remote could provide a little more info as to what’s happening or what level the fan is. In addition, the light kit is terrible and provides almost no light.

Fan quit working after a week

The fan is beautiful. The remote is noisy with clicking sounds. The fan quit working after a week. Very disappointed. A Hunter fan is supposed to be a quality fan. I won't buy this one again.

Fan operation

Just installed, Reverse does not work, Light dimmer does not dim..it's on/off, when starting up there is a several second delay and wiggles a bit..a bit of start-stop action.. then turns... I think it's damaged. It is, however, very very quiet which I like.. Except for the BEEPING.. it's loud and unnecessary. Looks like it belongs on a patio.

Beautiful and quiet but a funny start up process

This is a beautiful quiet ceiling fan. We have a Victorian home with elaborate crown molding and it suits the room without being overly noticable. My only notes are: only works with remote (no pull chain) so don't lose the remote haha, second, it has a strange mechanical - computer situation where it makes some noises and goes back and forth on start up. Apparently this is normal upon consulting with the company. Seems strange but like I said once it is on it operates very silent and moves a lot of air without any vibration, which was important to me with our historic ceilings

Hunter products are the best

Always pleased with Hunter ceiling fans. Extremely quiet and moves a lot of air. Purchased for our home office. Had to but a brighter bulb in but otherwise it’s great. Really appreciate an earlier review stating there is a delay when you first turn on the fan. Yes the remote chirp s loud but really how often are you changing settings?

Love this fan!

Super quiet, but a bit hinky to install. It works beautifully and cools the room with minimal effort. The remote control is odd. It has about a three second delay before responding. It takes some getting used to.
