Total house renovation included building a board and batten wall by my front door and attaching pegs to hang coats. The front doors are old leaded glass, and the pegs are 3”. This means that when the door opens, it puts the leaded glass in contact with the pegs. I couldn’t risk breaking the glass so I bought one of these door stops in a longer size to attach at the baseboard. In my photo you can see it in black down beside the bench on the baseboard. It stops the door just shy of the pegs. It was super easy to screw in, super sturdy, and the rubber tip protects the wood on my door as well. I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend.

Solid Doorstop
We were tired of our flimsy, spring-like doorstops falling apart. This product is solid, attractive and securely attaches to the baseboard. A bit pricey, but worth the money.
