Excellent dryer but Heavy Weight

I purchased this dryer for travel because 1) it came with a diffuser 2) the handle folds. I have naturally wavy/curly hair and blow my hair straight in the winter and lightly dry it using the diffuser in the summer. The dryer's heat is the same as my larger Conair infinity pro 1875 which is outstanding. However, the dryer weighs the same as the larger Conair. Since it is more compact, it is really heavy when using it due to the compact design. the tradeoff is a great compact dryer with excellent heating air quality vs the weight. One could purchase the much less expensive Conair travel model (much lighter weight) but there is a definite difference with the air-drying quality. Diffuser is small so outstanding size for travel and works well. The dryer size is outstanding for travel. The only disadvantage is that it is heavy. I wish the dryer was dual voltage. Model #270NR - Amazon does not show the model number.

Always a good blowout!

I love INFINITIPRO BY CONAIR Hair Dryer, 1875W Salon Performance. It dries my hair quickly, without over-drying or burning my scalp. This is my 3rd one, but my first in this beautiful, shiny merlot color. I purchased 2 of the burnt orange versions and those quickly disappeared with my kids into their bathrooms. I love the diffuser attachment as a bonus! I take mine with me whenever I travel so that I know my hair will be dry quickly and won't frizz. Such a great value and arrived very quickly! Definitely recommend this hair dryer!

Infinity Pro Hair Dryer

I had my last Infinity Pro Dryer for 14yrs. I used it at least 3 times a week. I'm hoping I get close to the same amount of use out of this one. I did notice it's a lot quieter than my old one and the air doesn't come out as hard. So it does take longer to dry my hair. I will say though, my stylist uses the expensive brand (the brand know for vacuums) and its just as quiet as that one and puts out the same air pressure.

It's a bit bulky but excellent blow dryer to have at home

I would not recommend to bring it on vacation because it's a bit bulky, but it is an excellent blow dryer for home. It comes with multiple heat and power rage to fit different needs. Also comes with sleek concentrator and diffuser which most blow dryers of that price range don't. I think it's a fair investment and I've been very happy with it for the past weeks. Let's hope it lasts for years (which is a challenge with blow dryers... they seem to have a 5 years expiration)!

Quality hair drying product

Pros: 1. It's a powerful dryer with a good temperature range. I have very long (goes below my waist and I', 5'3") and thick hair and it takes me about 10-12 minutes to get it about 90% dry. 2. The cold air button is a really good feature and feels very soothing to the scalp. 3. The cord length is sufficient for my use. 4. Doesn't leave my hair feeling dry after use. I use a heat protectant and hold the drier about 10 inches from my hair. Cons: 1. Its crazy loud. The first time I used it, my head was buzzing and I couldn't even hear my phone ringing over it. 2. It is a little heavy as compared to the dryers I've used before.

Powerful

I use a diffuser on my dryer and in the past it would take quite a while to dry my hair. That is not the case with this one. My hair drys twice as fast and leaves my hair feeling soft and not dried out. I highly recommend this one!

Good for thick hair!

I have thick hair and hate drying it because it just takes so dang long. A friend recommended this to me and I am so glad I bought it! Works super well, has good heat and power levels.

Conair never fails

I had a Conair dryer for 15 years, they just last. When I got this one, I realized that they had really upped their game. My hair dries in half the time than my old dryer. The diffuser doesn't seem to be the best quality and I removed a star because the cord isn't retractable like my previous Conair.

NOISE LEVELS ARE DANGEROUSLY HIGH. ****DO NOT USE****

At this highest speed setting, this was measured with a professionally calibrated decibel meter at a maximum of 121 decibels (with an average of 108 decibels) at the mouth of the dryer. This is alarmingly loud for something that is held in such close proximity to your head. According the the World Health Organization and the CDC, exposure at 113 decibels for 1 MINUTE is enough to cause damage. I can't use this dryer without ear plugs, which is absolutely ridiculous. If you value your health, PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS DRYER.

Burnt after 2 uses (don't waste your money)

I bought this in May but didn't really use it until the beginning of June. I don't use hair dryers often and was just looking for something to use for a couple of minutes here and there. So I was quite surprised to realize that the *second* time I used it, the fan wouldn't run, so the hair dryer would heat up but no air would flow out of the dryer, and its body would just get extremely hot (to the point of almost burning my hands). So, if you are looking for a reliable product that will last more than a single use, stay away from this product and Conair in general. Because, yes, I got in touch with them to get the product fixed replaced. And it was only downhill from there: When I realized my hair dryer was defective, it was two days too late (of course!) for me to return it to amazon, so I had to deal with Conair customer service, which I sincerely do not recommend. Their customer service over the phone is really bad (the person talking to me was just plain rude, even if I was very polite to them), and I had to pay out of my own pocket to send the broken hair dryer (still under warranty) to Ontario. I never heard back from them. After sending several emails and not getting any response, I called customer service again and the person I talked to this time was much nicer. They offered to send me a replacement, only in a different colour (which I accepted, because I just wanted to get something, *anything*, for the approx. $58 total I'd spend buying it on amazon + shipping fees to customer service in Ontario). I finally got a working hair dryer almost two months (!) after mailing the defective one to Conair. Only to realize, too late, that the replacement wasn't exactly the same product as the original (it's not just a different colour; it's a different quality: the materials on this one look a lot cheaper and an online research suggests it's indeed a different product, possibly an older version of the same model). I no longer want to pay out of pocket to mail defective/incorrect products back to Conair, so I left it at that and basically paid $58 to end up with a $20-quality hair dryer.

Super hot and fast and super long life

Purchased a GHD Helios 2 ($300) and a T3 ($200) prior to buying this dryer. This dries my hair 6 minutes faster dry than both top professional dryers. In my life, 6 minutes saves me time and shoulder pain. I owned this dryer for 12 years before needing to buy another. That's a great lifespan to me.

So loud!

I bought this hairdryer specifically for diffusing waves, and I'd say it does that job fairly well. I like the different temperature and intensity settings. The only issue is that it is sooooo loud. I literally had to wear earplugs, especially since diffusing my long hair takes a while. Forget about watching something or listening to music while drying your hair. If you're willing to put up with that, it otherwise does the job.

Una joya para el método curly!

Llevaba tiempo intentando encontrar una secadora con difusor (nunca había tenido así que no tengo con que comparar) Me decidí por esta porque me pareció un precio adecuado y no decepcionó! Buena potencia para secar, muchas opciones de temperatura. La recomiendo ampliamente ya que he notado mas definición y volumen. Mi cabello es delgado, patrón 2B/2C largo a media espalda y me toma aproximadamente 20 min secarlo con difusor.
