Good Practice Balls
used for practicing golf swing in garage. They work great.

Small but good.
The balls I received were 1.5 inches in diameter. A regulation US ball is 1.68 inches. That may seem like a small variation, but side by side it's considerable. I prefer to practice with actual size balls. These are softer and lighter than the more rubberized Callaway style practice ball. Outdoors I can hit them up to 40 yards with no wind. Wind affects the ball flight quite a bit. Indoors, I'm able to hit these off a house wall without fear of damaging anything (I use a practice mat). Overall, a nice ball with good durability if you want a bit softer foam ball.

Very quiet
We used to hit whiffle-ball type plastic golf balls around the office, but they were loud when ricocheting off the walls, can knock things over on people's desks and, the final blow, when we hit someone on the head with a sliced 8-iron, it was time for a change. These balls are very quiet and could not injure a target point blank. They also crush when you step on them, so less of a hazard all around. Tireless practice in the office doesn't necessarily translate to improved skills on the course :) If only we could use real golf balls...

Good for the basement, or small yards
These are made of very light foam, and have smooth surfaces. They don't fly very far, they are good for yards that have less than 80 feet or so room to practice. Although the surface is smooth, it does have enough air friction so that it mimics hooks and slices. They are also good for hitting indoors (basement if you've got the celing height).

Golf ball size
These look like a good ball and I have nothing good or bad to say about their quality. I only gave it 3 stars because I bought these foam balls as foam baseballs for my young son to hit in the back yard. No where on the description (at least at the time I purchased them) did it say these balls were golf ball size, not baseball size. There is a picture of a golf club on the packaging, but I did not see this until after it came in the mail. Just be aware the size to make sure it is what you want.

Durable, but don't show spin well.
With foam balls like this, you get what you pay for. The balls are durable, are easy to hit off my practice mat, but as expected, they don't feel like regular golf balls. It's hard to get a feel for ball striking, and you can't read the spin off the club face as you can with some of the harder practice balls. It's a trade-off: you can hit these at a garage door with no fear of damage, but don't ask them to perform like a harder, longer distance ball. Overall, they're great in tight spaces, but only for swing practice, not swing fine-tuning.

Pretty good
I enjoy hitting these but I really prefer the Callaway practice balls instead. I might just like the fact that those at least have dimples in them where as these do not. Maybe they give the exact same result but I prefer those. These work well though.

Ok
I bought these to hit down the hallway in my dormitory when I was bored. Not as fun as the real thing (or apples/oranges/soda cans/etc.), but they are perfectly safe and do not create much noise. I recommend for indoors use.

Good
We use it inside the house instead of real balls that could cause structural damage to the walls. so far so good.

Not for indoor use.
These foam golf balls are quite hard. I wouldn't recommend using them indoors unless you have a net. I was looking for soft foam balls....these aren't them.
