Great for crafting supplies AND napkins/utensils

I bought this to store paper crafting supplies in... the cutting plates for my die cutter fit perfectly in the "napkin" side, and the other areas are perfect for various tools. The weight of this unit is STURDY - it doesn't topple over if I put cutting pads in one side and leave the other side empty. VERY NICE.

CUTLERY CADDY QUEST COMPLETE! (Say that three times fast)

In an effort to stream-line all things dinner, I went on a quest for a napkin cutlery and napkin holder a month ago and finally ended at purchasing this InterDesign model. It is exactly what I had in mind...it is ver sturdy (will not tip - even with silverware on one side and no napkins on the other), sink washable, perfectly sized to fit standard sized silverware and cloth or paper napkins, takes up a small amount of space. (There were to many caddys out there that had and inch or two of scrool metal, handles, stands, etc. that would take up too much counter/table space.) My only reservation in giving it the big 5 star rating is that the fabric covering is darker and more "shimmery glimmery" (think Captain Kirk's bedspread) than it appears in the picture. I have vintage/retro kitchen decor, so it will not quite mesh but I'm willing to have a standout modern cutlery holder that works! :)

I feel like I have been living a lie

I feel like I have been living a lie! My whole life my mother and my mothers mother have said that your utensils go in a stupid plastic thing in a drawer! The whole drawer is taken up by a plastic crumb catcher that holds my silverware! Sometimes when I would make dinner I would start handing out the plates and I would hear from the dining room " MOMMY I NEED A FORK!" I would then need to stop what I am doing and run and get my three year old ( who could honestly just use his FINGERS!) a fork for his chicken strips. When I am done feeding everyone else and its time for mommy to relax with a cup of coffee and dinner I realize I forgot my utensils! I often would sit and wonder why .. why was there no other options out there? I saw this and I knew I had found the answer! I would use my utensils on my table as a decoration! wow. Now I have a free drawer for things like cup lids or a random junk drawer!

Almost Perfect

These caddies will be used by adults living with disability when practicing independent living skills. These are sturdy and have good handles for moving these. The only downside is that there aren't enough cubbies for all silverware. I have to use up the napkin slot with knives because there is no other place to put them. But at this price ($9.01) it is worth it.

I bought these for my office kitchens. They hold knives, forks, spoons and napkins. They look good and stylish on tables or countertops. We have had some for several years and they have held up well. Still look good.

Product is great . However being plastic , it should have been sent in a BOX NOT A BAG ! Luckily there was no damage to mine but if there was it would have been sent back ! TAKE SOME TIME AND BOX IT !

Works great for my purposes

I am pretty happy with this. I live with a bunch of roommates so I have my own little cart where I store my dinnerware/cookware. I was keeping my utensils in a plastic container, but wanted something a little more accessible, so I got this. I think the price is good, or at least better than most. It looks pretty, and has a decent amount of space in every compartment. I wouldn't recommend it as a main utensil holder, because I don't think it is big enough for everything, but it works well as a side one, or temporary one.

Versatile caddy

Exactly as currently pictured in the above stock images, this is a solid & sturdy plastic-type caddy designed to keep napkins & cutlery to hand at the table, except that there is a noticeable join on the metallic coloured layer on the one I have, which catches the eye if that way round (last images below refer). Also, in practice, I find, that paper napkins need to be a fair few or they flop over to one side or the other. However, it is handy for keeping all my favourite pen & pencils standing to attention with a couple of notebooks in the larger compartment. I have also used it occasionally for ‘book of the day’, with e.g.this in the larger compartment with sets of laminated words in the 4 x slots behind, particularly handy as I use four different card colours. The caddy stands around 11 cm high. The item base measures around 21 cm x 16 cm with rounded corners. Slightly ridged on the edge, it is a smooth finish to the base and its overall weight keeps it stable on all but the shiniest surfaces, in my experience. The lightly textured, moulded handles extend the overall width to around 25 cm. The compartments are static with a smooth finish inside. The large one measures roughly 21 cm maximum x 8 cm maximum (due to the rounded corners); the 4 smaller ones around 8 cm x 5 cm. ooOoo ~ INTER DESIGN® ~ FLATWARE CADDY! ™ ‘Made in China’ COLOUR: Over a CLEAR coloured unit, the plastic-type, textured basket weave effect layer is a nicely neutral METALLIC GOLD type shade, to my eye.
