Nice watch - Nice price
My first impression of the 14381 Speedway was that it was a very beautiful watch, and appears to be very solid and of good quality considering the price-point. I would have given it a "Five Star" rating, however the watch I received had a bad second hand which was loose - causing it to flop around the dial when the watch was moved. Knowing my way around quartz watch movements, this was an easy fix for me to do - but the simple point is that it shouldn't have arrived in that condition to begin with. That is something I have NEVER had happen with the higher price/quality Invicta watches with Swiss Quartz movements (this model has a Japanese Quartz movement). The packaging, however, was superb. I was wondering why the tracking said that the shipment weighed 5-lbs. Then a rather large box showed up at my door... and upon opening it there was another rather large Invicta box inside. That box contained a HUGE plastic watch case/box with snap closures and compartments to hold three watches - which was much larger than it looks in the photos. It definitely wasn't the typical simple yellow Invicta box! As nice as it is, it seemed kind of like overkill - as the watch looked absolutely tiny in such a huge box. The watch itself was packaged with easily-removable plastic around the band, clasp and face. It was very well protected. As for the size of the watch - it's big, but not too big. If you have rather small wrists it might look huge on you. The band is very long - so I had to remove some links in order for it to fit correctly - but once I did it was very comfortable and seemed to be a nice overall size to me. One important note for those who aren't familiar with this type of watch: The crown and buttons are of the "screw down" type. This means that you have to unscrew them in order to set the time, change the date or use the Chronograph functions. This is meant as extra protection and waterproofing. All-in-all, "yes" - I would recommend this watch. It looks great and is much, MUCH cheaper than the Rolex Daytona it resembles!

Looks great and keeps perfect time
Excellent value. The warranty information is incorrect. It is three years, not one. I will contact Amazon to correct the page. I think that the serial number (required for warranty service) is on the white outer-box. It is not on the watch itself. This seems to be well made and it looks great (as well as far more expensive than it is). The packaging leaves something to be desired as the whole thing is coated with a plastic film that is hard to peel off. However links are relatively easy to remove (YouTube is your friend) and you can fine tune the fit by re-positioning the ends on the clasp. As a chronometer this is a compromise (as is the Daytona). I loathe the wrist-clocks that some people are wearing. However a 47 mm dial is going to be easier to read than this 40 mm timepiece. If you really need a chrono that badly, spend $15 on a separate timer. However, this is just fine for timing a steak and the multiple dials add a dimension to the look which is quite faithful to the Rolex Daytona design. The date is easy to read. Note that this does not display the day of the week. The watch comes with everything screwed down. You need to completely unscrew the pushers to use them and, of course, the stem to initially change the time and date. The pushers, by the way, are just a bit mushy — I have other watches that return a more pleasing and affirming click. Weight is about what it should be — you won't build muscle mass checking the time but it is not flimsy. The booklet is in micro-writing which seems popular these days. It is also generic rather than model-specific. Apparently Invicta needs to save on paper. The booklet is pretty useless if you ask me.

Very well made at an incredible price.
Very well made, screw down crown AND chronograph buttons (!). Perfectly OK bracelet, although I changed mine for a quality leather one. It's a beautiful watch. The only thing I don't like about it are the chonograph buttons that do not "click" when you push them. They work fine, but don't provide any tactile feedback. For the price, it's a very good purchase (or gift).

Fantastic Looking Watch
This is my first "dress watch". Wanted something a little "blingy" without breaking the bank...this was the perfect choice. I don't know anything about nice watches so I did a little research and settled on this one. As a note that may come in handy for some: I have TINY wrists. If I had to guess they're probably only 6-7" around. So for the size of my arm I didn't want a HUGE watch-face. I know that's the style nowdays but I wanted something that looked right on my wrist. This one is perfect. It looks suitably large on my wrist without being crazy looking and it feels"heavy" and well made. I think for my size anything much larger would look kinda ridiculous on me...so if you're a big guy with thicker wrists you may want a slightly larger face. I took it in to have the band resized and they had to take 2 links out of each size for it to fit...now it's perfect. SUPER FAST shipping as well. Ordered it late on a Wed night, had it in hand Friday morning. Also comes in a ridiculously large, heavy plastic case...similar to a gun-case. I don't have any use for the case so I gave it away but it's a really nice case if you can use it to store something. As long as the watch keeps time and nothing breaks on it I think I will be happy with this purchase for a long time. Definitely recommended and would purchase again.

Invicta Speedway 14381
Overall I like this watch. It feels well made, BUT.........The only thing I "Don't" like is the bezel. On the photos or images of the face of this watch the numbers on the bezel appear very distinct and easily readable. However, in reality they are almost invisible - almost like a highly polished plain metal ring and does not look anything like it does on the Amazon or Invicta websites.

Nice watch but no instructions and customer support, missing in action.
The watch arrived and looked better than the pic. It was beautifully boxed. If you want to give a present with that "wow" factor, you can't go wrong. From the watch box itself, to the weight of the piece, it looks, and feels like quality. My problem was with strap. It was too big for my small but still very manly wrists. (Everyone says so.) I even have a set of tools with which I have successfully reduced the metal straps on the last couple of watches I've owned. They came with instructions however and this watch did not. I looked on line for a manual, and checked out the Invicta site and dozens of others who carry the line of watches. Why would the info on how to reset the model's time was everywhere but info on resizing the band was not? Could it be that you're supposed to visit an Invicta service centre? Info on finding a service centre was almost as easy to find as was how to sign up for a cruise with other Invicta watch purchasers. Not helpful at all. If I were mobile enough to get on a cruise ship with people who wore the same brand of socks I prefer, or travel to a service centre, I would have gone to a mall and purchased a watch that would have been sized for me on the spot. (No offence intended Amazon, you know I love ya.) I couldn't see how the strap needed to be reduced and I wasn't going to risk scratching the thing by attempting that task without instructions. I sent it back. I have yet to receive acknowledgement of the return. I'll update this review if that also becomes problematic.

Wonderful Watch
This speedway watch from invica is a nice looking watch, i have this watch for some time now and have be wearing it almost everyday and everything seems to be going great. I have even gone swimming in the pool to test out its water resistant, to my surprised it pass the test. Not the easiest watch to see in the dark but nonetheless great watch although online says different about the company
