As expected
My only complaints are that mine didn't come with the temp/humidity monitor and that the fan didn't connect to the filter without using tape to secure it.

Works great!
Great fan a little loud

Quiet fan and adjustable and accessible to clean
Exactly what I was looking for. Use it for venting fumes for my welder. Have a shower run to the wall and vent out through a 4” drainage pipe with a dryer vent cover on the outside. Can be taken apart and cleaned. Been using it for about Week. We’ll see how it lasts. Can’t beat the price.

Excellent 6" Fan for a 5x5x6.5 grow tent.
Tech stats in case anyone was curious... It draws 44.5 watts at it's lowest possible setting, 46.5 watts in the middle of the MEDIUM setting, 54.5 watts in the middle of it's HIGH setting, and 60.5 watts at MAXIMUM. Supposedly this model is rated at 350CFM...yet when I tested it with my digital Anemometer, that highest number I saw was 260CFM, with no ducting attached, about 6" from the outlet side of the fan. Once you attach a filter and ducting, even with minor bends, I'm sure that number will be reduced even further...BUT...read below..and you'll see how "real world" numbers, not manufacturers "blown out of proportion" numbers defer. Set on MAX 260CFM, MEDIUM 210CFM, and LOWEST setting was 180CFM Now on to the quality stats... The ducting that it comes with as of 12/2020 is the cheapest junk you can buy at Lowes, the fan however far exceeded my expectations. I have a 5x5x 6.5 grow tent, on it's lowest setting(180CFM), using it as SUPPLY AIR, with PVC ducting and (3) short 90° bends...it moves SOOO MUCH air that it is a windy inside the tent and inflates my tent like a balloon and I have to open up the other ports or the door to release the air...I don't think I'll ever need to use any of the other settings, the lowest(180CFM) is PLENTY!

Design Flaw. Very difficult to attach due to unit body width extending beyond brace screw holes
First, this is heavy (metal) and the directions say to affix to masonry/concrete and you will need to do so. The brace / platform at the bottom is too narrow to support the body so attaching it to something is required. Since it has to sit on the floor due to weight it is not my idea of in-line for ducts. So here are the additional purchases I had to make to install this fan because of the design flaw: 1. A stone to affix the fan. 2. Additional duct work 3. Masonry screws (with drill bit included) 4. An 's-shaped' screwdriver short enough to fit between the body of the fan to fasten the screw into the stone. A stubby screwdriver is way too tall, as is any type of adapter for an impact driver. You have maybe an inch from the screw to the body. It is going to be time consuming to screw it in so do this before you go under the house or other area where space or light is an issue. Of course, you will also need a drill in order to drill the holes in the stone or concrete. Additionally, I bought a screwdriver set which attaches to a socket which I thought would work but it was also too tall and could not be used. But I have other uses for this socket-screwdriver tool which I did not know existed. As for the fan itself, it seems to work fine. As I already mentioned, it is heavier than expected. If they had made the fan so you could screw in the screws or made the brace wide enough to support the fan, then I would have given this a much higher rating. A lot of hassle and time to set this up and I wish I would have bought a lighter plastic fan.

Quiet and moves a lot of air.
I bought two of these, one to pull air out of my greenhouse into my house, and one to put air into the greenhouse from my house. This helps regulate the temperature of my greenhouse in the winter. I bought two and one of the fins of one of the fans was broken. It was replaced and the units I have working are great!

Noisy setup
I realize that a fan has to be noisy to blow at these speeds, so I can't be totally unfair. The carbon filter is solid and only a bit of loose charcoal dust inside the chamber. Fan is way less noisy when all is assembled, but I wish the ducting was more insulated for sound. I'll try DIY methods for sound dampening. Other than that, it all does what it's supposed to, but its a bit overpriced for what you get.

Charcoal everywhere
I’m disappointed that I purchased this brand. The 350cfm fan worked fine but the filter had so much charcoal debris inside of it the moment I pulled it out of its plastic bag. It was spilling out everywhere. I tried emptying out as much as I could before putting the white skirt on it to give it a test run. Connected the fan and turned it on for about 5mins, It just ended up filling my dinning room with fine black dust all over the place. This is a health hazard. There’s no way that this is how it’s suppose to work.

Works like a Champ
Very happy with this ventilation fan kit! Works great, and after running for months now its just as quiet as it was on day one :). Great value for price point.

Not sure what it is supposed to look like when complete
The fallback, of course, is that you might want a Halloween costume at an HVAC themed party. But gosh, these components are bigger than you might have thought, anyways.

Know what size you need before buying.
So, I used this unit in my grow tent. I purchased one a little bigger than I needed for expansion later, its in a 2.3x2.3 grow tent and it rocks. Will buy this monster again if needed. Works exactly as it should. Eliminates all unwanted smells in my man cave grow tent. Very solid, quiet, powerful, and looks great.
