very useful

My 2nd pair of these Irwin's. They're sturdy with good handles. This version strikes the balance between light enough to use one-handed, agile enough to use for a small target like pulling a nail, but large enough to usually save me having to go get a wrench. For my adult male (L/XL glove size) hands, larger than this 8" model is awkward, but 6" usually doesn't provide sufficient leverage. So the 8 is just right. My older pair of these are coming up on 3 years old and show no signs of aging (handles still look great). I find I use blunt-nosed pliers a lot more than one would expect for how infrequently they show up in tool-kits. For home DIY and minor repairs I use them a lot more than my needle-nosed AND more than my basic wrenches combined. Irwin has become one of my trusted brands (well-made and reasonably priced). These are Highly Recommended.

Comfortable Grips and Well Machined

The pliers are comfortable and appear to be very strong. The machining appears to be very precise; the joints are tight but move easily.

I returned this item that was defective and they sent me the exact same one twice.

I returned this item because the handle was really flimsy. Also it was pretty scuffed up. I didn't care so much about the second part, because tools get scuffed up anyway. But when they sent me the exact same flimsy scuffed up pliers twice, I mean wow. Shame on you guys. I never leave bad a review but you need to be called out on this one. Exact same defective item? Did you really think I wouldn't notice? The signature scuffs on the flimsy handle gave it away....

Good price good quality.

Hard to find decent quality pliers of any kind that most hard working people are willing to pay for, especially in these tighter budget times. Irwin if bought through honest sellers definitely fits the bill.

Quality at a reasonable price

These are a quality plier at a price that you would expect to pay more. Can't go wrong purchasing Irwin tools, I have a large assortment of them and find them to be of professional quality. Love those handles, so comfortable to use.

Vice makes good tools for a good price. A solid pair of pliers that you cant go wrong with if you dont want to spend Knipex or even Channel-Lock level of coin.
