Great quality, not for anyone who has high arches or swollen feet

The shoes were great quality, well made and very attractive. I had high hopes that they might fit my high arches, but it was not to be. I got them on, but the velcro barely closed, and I knew that if my feet swelled (which they do!) I'd be very uncomfortable. Lesson learned. Someone with average arches would probably be thrilled with these shoes, I was a bit heartbroken and had to return them.

Better than sneakers!

Who gets excited about sneakers? Embarrassingly I do. This is my 2nd pair of JBU Water-ready shoes. I have been looking for this style for a long time. I completely wore out the last pair...however I do still wear them sometimes because they are black, (and a bit ratty looking with a few holes). I wore them out so badly that I replaced the velcro strips that attach the straps to the shoe (for better grip). But, comfortable? Oh, yea! They are cute enough that I can wear them with my long casual dresses. The charcoal is nice, however I wish they were available in black. They offer as much support as sneakers for Zumba and walking. I have balance issues and these shoes do not add any problems. They are so comfortable; more so than high-rated expensive sneaker-type shoes. And I can wear them without socks... no blisters! They are extremely light and flexible. They adapt to most any foot, due the adjustable straps. I experience extreme foot swelling at times, and have no problem getting them on during that time. The nylon mesh top keeps your foot from getting hot. They are very light and give you the sensation of being barefoot. Also, they are washable!! No leather upkeep. They have a good solid comfortable foot base and thin soles unlike those thick white ones found on most comfort sneakers. All in all, they are cute and are my "go to" shoes.
