I felt distracted! But, we changed the game a bit!
Ok so the reason I gave it 4 stars Is because… there were too many distraction cards n w 2 of us playing this made game too easy n boring. My daughter was done n but I begged her to play one more time w me! She gave in, n came back to play one last time, (Hehe!) I secretly took out ALL the distraction cards! She got to the 3rd card n said wow no distraction? Then she still remembered 4th # n by 9th # card she was struggling n really focused on recalling all 9 #’s. She did it :)! Then said she stopped me! She distracted me! She asked Mother!?! What did u do to the cards? Where r the distraction cards mom!?! She was laughing! I said, idk what ur talking bout?! Then I laughed too! She had me! She knew it! She kept asking questions… mom? Don’t u remember ur #’s? Haha! We had a lot of fun! I couldn’t recall the #’s! She yelled I win! ** Smart thinking on her part!! She got me! Then she announced she had an idea for a game too! 10 min later she made up her own version of the memory/concentration game w the round # cards to find the match. IF u couldn’t make the #card match, then U choose a distraction question card! It was just enough to distract us from remembering where the #card was. Very cool! As u can tell, we used the game differently, yet shes learned a lot about focusing. And what distracts people! What distracts her? She’s thinking outside the box more n doesn’t give up so easily either! Giving it as a gift, maybe? Great game? Sorta. Maybe Upper grades w more than 2 people? Maybe I played wrong. Yes the cards r sturdy, colorful n versatile!

Great challenge for focus
I started playing this with students who have difficulty concentrating - they like the challenge and they like answering the questions. So far it’s been great!

Water-spitting funny!
Purchased for my niece's 12th birthday in Oct, 2013. The whole family are big fans of board games and card games. This one takes the cake! So it is a memory game. Each person gets a stack of the round cards, face-down. The "Distraction" cards are in a pile in the middle. In turn, each person places one of their round cards on the stack, repeating each number in order from the bottom up, including their number last. Person 1 : 5 Person 2: 5, 3 Person 3: 5, 3, 7 Person 4: 5, 3, 7, 2 etc. If the person's card they place is orange, a "Distraction" card is read BEFORE they recite the numbers. They must then respond, do the task on the card (sometimes you answer a question, sometimes you do something), and then say the numbers (5, 3, 7, 2...). If someone calls you out because they think you said the numbers incorrectly, the numbers are checked. If you get them wrong, you take them, if you get them right, the person who called you out takes them. Simple game, right? HILARIOUS results! We played with 4 people: myself, kid's mom, 12 year old, 9 1/2 year old brother. There was a ton of laughter, surprises (this Aunt totally beat the pants off those genius kids!), and at 1 point performing the distraction caused the 9 1/2 year old to spit water out of his nose! 100% recommended. And the orange cards come up more often, so I think the longest number chain we had was 8-10 numbers, no worse than a phone number! Great game!!

High School Resource Game
I got this for my high schoolers, I teach a resource academic skills class and all of my students struggle with executive functioning. As expected they were hesitant and thought they wouldn’t like it but now they ask to play it on a regular basis. It is great for working memory practice!

Great game for therapy!
I use this game for my clients in Cognitive Remediation Therapy. It’s great for working on enhancing most mechanisms and brain functions that fall under executive functioning. It’s appropriately challenging, but it is also fun!

This game is not the funnest..it wasn't easy and we just adapted it to a née game..lots of cards and little pieces that dont go that nicely back into the box so they end up everywhere
