Quick game!
I’ll admit we played it wrong the first few times, but it was still fun. The way we played it initially made it easy for our 5 year old to play since she knows her colors. It was explained that if she got upset that someone stole her cards that she wouldn’t get to play anymore. How were we playing it wrong? We did not declare if we were going to score or “steal from who” before we flipped the card over when it was our turn. We flipped the card then decided if we would steal and from whom or if we would just score. It was still fun that way, but it wasn’t the right way. We may still play this way if our 5 year old wants to play, but if she doesn’t we will play the declare “score or steal from whom way”. When you declare who your going to try and steal from and they don’t have the card you flip over they get to keep your card. So I could see when we play we’d do a lot more declaring “score” before we flip the card on our turn. It’s a fun game! I’ll give out as a gift during holidays.

Best new card game
Our family loves games but sometimes we want one simple like UNO that you can just grab, and all ages can play. This has easy elements like go fish and memory making matches, but you can also steal which adds a funny layer- fast paced fun for all.

Great for all ages
We love this game! It’s a quick game with very little set up and cleaning. We play this with adults and kids and everyone has fun. It’s our 6 year old’s favorite game at the moment.

What a great family game!
I recently had the chance to play the card game Mantis and I am impressed! The game is easy to learn, but offers a lot of strategy and depth for players of all skill levels. One of the things I love most about Mantis is its replayability. The game offers a lot of variability, with different cards and combinations that can lead to unique gameplay experiences each time you play. This keeps the game fresh and exciting, even after multiple play-throughs. The game was very easy to learn. It says for 7+ but even my 6 year old picked it up quick and loved it. Such a fun and easy game to play for family game night. The game also has a great balance of luck and skill and guessing. While luck can play a role in the cards you draw, it's up to the player to make the most of those cards and use their strategy to win. This creates a fun and engaging experience for players of all skill levels. Overall, I would highly recommend Mantis to anyone looking for a fun and engaging card game. It's a great option for game nights with friends or family, and offers a lot of depth and replayability. If you're looking for a new game to add to your collection, give Mantis a try!

My family loves this game. Fun enough to play with adults, easy enough for my 4 year old to learn.

Getting enjoyment and entertainment from this game
It may seem like a game ideal for young children, but older (and I mean really older) adults can get as much fun and enjoyment. The cards feel good to hold, the illustrations are creative, and the mechanics of the game are easy to learn. I can see this game as having a lot of replayability and as a travelling companion that is far from boring! It's a keeper for sure, don't think I'd give it away even when I have stopped playing it regularly.

The children love it
A great game to play with children. Our grandchildren (7 & 10), really enjoy playing it. It's a lot easier to learn than Exploding Kittens and even more fun!

Nice game but ONLY if you have youngsters
This is a nicely packaged, colourful game. But I made the mistake of buying it to play with my teens (because I’m done with Uni and Exploding Kittens!) and it’s only really appropriate if any of the players are 7 or 8? In this case it’s probably great but for Adults and Teens it’s far too simple - we played it once and gave it away. £20 is very expensive for what it is too…. Bought Rummicub Twist instead which is simple but a little more challenging…
