Favorite lounging swaetpants

Love these sweatpants! I wear them as soon as they come out of the wash! They are light, soft and great for hanging at home.

An elevated basic

Since the pandemic began and the switch to work from home permanently, my wardrobe has basically shifted from dressy \ business casual to sweat pants and t-shirts. I've been looking to expand my sweat pant repertoire and came across these joggers from the Alternative brand. I got the washed black color which is more like a charcoal or dark gray. I typically wear about a 34x32 and got the Large size, and the fit for me is almost perfect. The length is maybe a smidge on the short side, but I believe that is the style and is reflected accurately in the product photos. The waist band is elastic and I feel would work fine for waists larger than mine by several inches. The waist band is also wide and comfortable. These joggers look nice. They are basic so there isn't a lot to say, but the sides have some exposed stitching that looks nice, and the "washed" style has some of the seams looking a tiny bit darker than the rest which is a nice detail. The fabric is not "brushed" or particularly soft on the inside, but it feels fine. The weight of the fabric is medium, a step above something like a pajama, but not as thick as a traditional sweat pant. Probably the only thing I noticed that I would change is the side pockets are a little small. I have a large sized cell phone and it doesn't fit in the pocket. Another thing to note, there is a rear pocket which is not too common for these kind of pants. Overall, they're nice pants, too expensive, and I wish the side pockets were big enough to hold my phone without it hanging out, but aside from those 2 things there's nothing I'd change.

Stole these from my husband - very comfy

great washed out grey color, soft outside and there isn't a bunch of extra baggy fabric. inside fabric has sort of nubby balls so that's a tad weird but not bad. looked great on the hubs too.

Good joggers for exercise or lounging

Good: -Comfortable. -Two front and one back pocket. -Machine washed well. Bad: -The pockets could be slighter bigger. I ordered the Alternative Men's Campus Jogger, large. The fit was true to size and the stretchy waistband includes a drawstring for customized comfort. The pockets are useful for miscellaneous items. The jogger feels flexible as a training pant for the gym. The color has a dark gray neutral tone. The quality of the fabric and stitching is excellent. Overall, the jogger works well for exercise or lounging around the house.

Great joggers, very comfortable

These joggers are great for wearing around the house. They are a nice grey/charcoal color, have exposed stiching and white draw strings to tighten waste if needed. They are a tapered fit down towards the calf, which is the jogger style. I like wearing these over sweatpants as they are not baggy and have a nice fit. The pockets are small, I don't really know how to explain it, but they don't feel like normal pants pockets. Overall great lounging pants!

comfortable

This is just right amount of thickness for CA fall weather. It feels soft and it washes like a dream. It feels even softer after few washes. Color doesnt seem to be fading which is a plus as that means I will wear it for longer.

Smart looking joggers

My son wears these and likes how they fit. They are a step above basic sweat pants. These are soft but also more fitted. They look smart and he wears these around the house, when he walks dogs and runs some errands. He says these are versatile and he wears them with t shirts and also with button up tops that are layered. These are just a little bit on the shorter side but not so much that it looks odd. My son is 6 feet tall. He wears a large and these fit him well. The large fits comfortably in the waist. He wears a 34 inch waist pants.

Fit is stylized

The Alternative Men's Campus Jogger pants are the tiniest bit short, and they appear to be slim cut. My husband, who is a tall and slim sized Large has been wearing them all day long and has declared them very comfortable. However, the pants are the tiniest bit short (my husband is 6'2"), and they are pretty unforgiving in fit. They are NOT the loose and baggy jogging pants of old. They sit lower on the waist, and are leaner in the thighs and legs. These are great for lounging around and/or running errands. If you like the style, it's a great relaxed look.
