It’s a lamp!

Purchased this beautiful lamp for my MIL. It came together very easy. She loves the glass tray and is very happy. My concern is the foot switch. It is very light weight and won’t stay in place. The cord won’t completely straighten and the switch ’rolls’ with it. Hoping it relaxes with time. The rest of the lamp is very sturdy, not sure why they cut corners on the foot switch. Would have been great to have an option with a switch on the lamp itself.

Nice lamp table perfect height for recliners

I love this lamp and table combo. Perfect for the tight space in between my recliners. I almost didn't buy it because of the negative mentions about the floor switch, I didn't want a floor switch but liked everything else about the lamp. I ended up spending $2.50 and 10 minutes to change out the light socket for one that has a three way switch. Perfect! Simple fix and I no longer have to worry about using the floor switch.

Looks good and does the job

Great lamp. Had one, bought another. Perfect next to a chair for reading while enjoying a cup of coffee. The swivel lamp great for adjusting the light just where you need it. The table top good size for small clock, book, paper and pens, etc. Very easy to assemble.

Fantastic table lamp

I bought this brass table lamp to replace the one I had for over 25 years. I was very pleased. It is beautiful. I didn't even need the instructions to put it together. I also love the floor push button turn on and off switch. It's nice to be able to swing the lamp shade back and forth to bring the light closer to your seat.

Just what I was looking for

This would have been a 5 star review if the company who packed it had better quality control. I’d consider returning it but it’s such a hassle to pack it back up. The lamp is exactly what I was looking for. Perfect size, the glass table is great. I don’t even mind the button on the floor that turns it on/off. The base has a few spots where there is no finish and appears rusty. It is just a spray finish on metal base. I will report it to Amazon. Update: Amazon made the exchange of a new lamp very simple. They sent me a new lamp in perfect condition. I unpacked the new lamp and used the same box to return the defective one. I received a return label and took it to the UPS Store. Great customer service! I have changed the review to 5 stars.
