Nearly perfect

The Joovy bottles are my go-to bottles these days. I really like them for the most part. One of my plastic bottles was leaking, so I contacted Joovy. I had a response and replacement valves within a week. I was super impressed with the customer service. The only quirky thing about the glass bottle verse the plastic is that the white ring that holds the nipple in place is a different size, so they are not interchangeable. Thankfully, there are different markings on the two kinds, so it's easier to keep them separate. It would be nice if the white ring could fit on all styles, but it is a mild inconvenience compared to all the other reasons I like the Joovy bottles.

Life saver for a baby refusing the bottle!

After not giving him a bottle for a few months, my four month old completely stopped taking a bottle. We wasted a lot of milk trying Avent, Dr. Browns, and Como Tomo bottles unsuccessfully. My friend got me one of these and surprisingly he has taken to drinking from a bottle again!! I believe it is because of the ribbed nipple. Keeping my fingers crossed he continues to drink from this bottle. Not to mention, I love that it is glass.

Hard to close the top, sometimes leak

I like the silicone sleeve and the glass design. One major flaw is that the top is difficult to screw on because it involves 3 parts, not two. If it is at all screwed on wrong, milk will leak. I have lost a few ozs of breast milk this way.

The glass is good quality, the rubber around it doesn’t go low ...

The extra plastic ring which sits under the lid doesn’t form a seal without the extra part, which is also another part to wash. The glass is good quality, the rubber around it doesn’t go low enough for me to read lower measurements properly though. The teet is good quality and easy to clean, flows quick. Heavy so better for older infants rather than newborns in terms of safe handling weight. Glass thick and therefore good as it is hard t9 break.

great bottle

I liked it but my baby did not. The regular nipple she was not interested in. We purchased the nood nipples as well, and my baby tried to latch on but she gagged because the nipple was too long for her. After trying about 15 different bottles, my baby will drink from a lansinoh natural wave. I'm sure this bottle will work great for others, but for us it was a no go. We did not have any problems with leaking or shattering when warming up when we tested this bottle out. UPDATE: Now that my baby is a little bit older, she prefers this bottle! Very happy about this, because I prefer the glass bottles!

LOVE

We love this bottle! And, of course, its larger counterpart. I have never had a problem with leaking (the key here is to place the vent ring in the top of the bottle before adding screwing in the nipple). It is the perfect weight and size for our almost 6 month old. The only thing to be mindful of is when I add 4oz to the larger version it marks it at 3.5oz and the gap becomes worse the more liquid you add. We have chosen to measure water in our glass measuring cup then adding. When I measure 4oz and added it to the 5oz bottles it measured perfectly.

Takes good preparation to prevent leaks

I love these glass bottles. You definitely have to make sure the ring is on correctly and pushed down all the way or it will leak. I did have one bottle break mid hand wash which was weird but i’m pretty rigorous with the bottle brush. Baby really loves drinking from these, more so than any silicone bottles so far.

Leaks without ring, which is tiny and easy to loose

I like this bottle, but it’s really disappointing that they don’t sell a sippy cup lid for this when baby is done with the bot5le. You have to buy a whole new product that isn’t available in glass. Also, there is a tiny ring that fits between the glass and the lid that is easy to loose. Bottle leeks horrendously without it....I love the bottle itself, but those are the drawbacks for me.
