Perfect for my Hedgehog!!
This heating pad has been SO perfect for my hedgehog. I keep it placed underneath her cage, right where she sleeps, so she is not laying directly on top. It is no where near hot enough to melt the bottom of the cage, so no worries about the heat burning through. However, I do make sure to place my hand near her sleeping post (as I said, directly above the heating pad) every morning and every night just to double check the temperature. I've been using it for 2 months and am so so satisfied. An LED heat lamp I never liked because the illumination made it 1) hard for me to sleep and 2) probably harder for her to sleep. PERFECT PRODUCT FOR HEDGEHOGS

No Vacancy at the Feral Inn
I bought several of these little heating pads and used them in some Feral Cat Shelters that I made for the Winter for the Feral Cats in my area. The Feral Cats loved them so much that some showed up early each evening to claim their place. I will definitely purchase more when I add more Feral Cat Shelters.

Very impressed
I had a heat lamp on my chicks and had it too close to them. They over heated and I lost 3. I purchased this heating pad after hearing about it on a page I follow on Facebook. So far it is working great! Easy to clean because of the hard plastic (it’s completely encased), Would definitely recommend.

Rigid and wonderful
It's encased in hard plastic, super easy to clean. I have 2 of them under a puppy pad inside a pop up pen. My chicks have been on them for three days, since two days after hatch. My house is only about 70 degrees but the chicks act comfortable. They hop on them and cuddle up at night and will sit on top of them for a few minutes on and off throughout the day before heading off to run around to the food and water. They are warm to the touch but not hot. We will be ordering more for my broody hens that have decided to brood while it's still snowing. I may even line my big brooder box in the barn with these instead of heat lamp I have hung in it right now. Great find!

Good quality
I like this heater because it is safe. The bottom doesn’t get warm at all just the top which eliminates the panic of something catching on fire. It doesn’t get warm enough for chicks less than 2 weeks old. We ended up putting some bamboo boxes on top of the pad to help trap some eat in and our brooder has a lid on top vents and that helped trap some of the heat in. Overall it’s sturdy and good quality. Will plan on using these for the coop over the winter.

Heat pad
Purchased it for my granddaughters hedge hog. She said it works great. Making sure he stays warm. If they get to cool they will die. He is doing great.

Love it, but hard to clean
My teen chicks are definitely loving it, and I like that it only activates when they sit on it. I just wish it was a bit easier to clean and sanitize, have to take it out completely and use a scrub brush. But I would still buy again, definitely recommend.

This heater mat works really well!
I placed this heated mat underneath the floor of my chick’s container to protect it from being soiled by the chicks. I also used a roof style heater with adjustable legs for height and placed it above the heater mat. All my chicks found shelter and warmth with no problem.

Excellent Product!
I have insulated cat houses in my yard for my ferals. Each house has a 13" × 19" heated mat inside to keep them warm during the cold winter months. I recently acquired another insulated house; however, the inside dimensions are not quiet big enough to accommodate that size of mat, whereas this one fits perfectly! This mat is great, very solid and well constructed. I highly recommend if a smaller type heated mat is what you need.

Worked very well
I bought this to heat the floor of a small feeding station for wild birds. It gives off very gentle warmth to the touch. I even discovered on a thermometer that the air in the small enclosed feeding station was 5 degrees celsius warmer than the exterior air, although I'm not sure this is entirely because of the heating pad. There seemed to be no problems with freezing rain and snow on the exterior side. It worked well all winter.

Good but pricey
I originally intended to get one of the elevated heating pads, but they “sold out” and then reappeared at 50% more like many Amazon items. I decided I’d get this, with the thinking that I’d install it in the coop for winter time when the chicks were grown. So far I have 4 happy 2 week old chicks and I haven’t had to use a dangerous heat lamp. Just be aware that they will poop on it. A lot. I think I paid around $65 for it which is a little steep for a heating pad IMO, but it seems very sturdy.

Not overly impressive but keeps water from freezing
I'm not sure why everyone raves about it. It's in a little brooder for chicks and a mama. It's alright but if straw comes off it, it doesn't feel so warm. I guess the "magic" of it that they promote is that it warms the animal but ONLY if they lie on it. The most shocking part was how small it is (smaller than a piece of printer paper). Clearly I didn't think that one through. For the size it feels like it's not worth it. Update: I use it to place jugs of water on it in winter for refreshing the animals water and the water doesn't freeze so I'm very happy about that. And I've had it for 1 yr and it's still working. So now I'm giving it 4 stars
