Tiny Tubes for Genius Solution

Long story short, I have some rather expensive wood blinds that I was cutting the cords on to shorten, and I cut them TOO SHORT!!! After beating myself up over it and wracking my brain for solutions, I was able to re-attach the cords using these tiny tubes. First I used a lighter to heat treat the ends of the cords I was rejoining, otherwise they unravel making it more difficult to insert into the tiny tubes. I chose the shortest tubes to work with because they have to pass through the cord-stop of the blind (yes, I cut and messed up the weight-bearing cord with the most moving parts). Next I inserted the heat-treated end of the cord into one side of the tiny tube and crimped it on using a bead crimper, then I crimped the cord I was attaching into the other end of the tiny tube. Amazingly IT WORKED and is still working after 4 weeks of heavy use.

Too many little pieces

This package contains too many little pieces that are not useful to me. Don't know what I'll do with them. If you're looking for little pieces then this is it but if you want longer pieces they're not in this package. The first package came open and the content was dumped out and missing a lot only about 15 pieces was in the package. Had to send it back.

Not large tubes, an assortment of very little short tubes What you see in the picture is a small 4x2 inch packet of 1/16" to 3/32" tubes of various lengths shorter than 1.5"

Versatile assortment of round and square tubing, rod, bar, and angle of various metals for projects and repairs

Unique combination of small round & square tubing, rods, angle pieces of various sizes and lengths for multiple uses. The pieces are a variety of copper, aluminum and brass components so if you need a specific metal, you may want to order something more else. There may only be one piece that is copper tubing of a certain diameter for example. So I also ordered 12" 3/32" copper tubing specifically for my project. But this assortment will be really useful to have around for various projects and repairs. Like having an assortment of screws or bolts or nuts handy.

Small Assortment of Small Tubes

Overall this product is fine, my only complaint was it didn't include as many items as I was expecting based on the photo. However there is a reasonably good assortment of short tubes. There are probably only a few that will fit my needs, but they aren't all that expensive so this will be OK for me.

50/50 tube and rod small diameter assortment.

50% tube and 50% rod. Small diameter, perfect for modelers, jewelers and those in need of small brass, copper or aluminum bits. I used it to repair a small plastic valve that had a crack and was not available new. Nice quality items.
