A Useful Square Cement Pot Not Just For Plants

This is exactly the particular specifications I had in mind for my needs. This is a heavy, weatherproof solid square “pot” and the dimensions were suitable for my requirements. I actually use the pot on its side and use the top as a small table on my patio and keep a bowl of water for my cat inside. At the time of purchase I had not yet adopted my cat and she was homeless for about two years. However when she started to come up on my patio I took to her aid. That being said as she was building trust with me it was perfect to keep her food bowls and water underneath. I kept them on a tray. It was perfect size for her to safely get to her food and also helped her and her food from getting wet in the rain. It also is perfectly designed to keep bugs out of the food bowls. The only issue I had is the hole for the plug does not fit hence useless so I used duct tape to seal both sides which has held up. Now that I have adopted her, she still likes to go outside. And it’s important to keep water readily available. This pot has been essential for her and looks attractive as patio decor.

Disintegrating within 3 years of outdoor use.

The "concrete" finish is literally peeling off all 7 containers after 2 1/2 years of being planted. Perhaps these are not meant to be filled with dirt and plants and watered. Might be that a plastic container needs to be placed inside so the planter has no contact with moisture. Maybe they aren't meant to be outdoors. Unfortunately these are lining a pathway and the ugly deteriorating part can't be hidden. I have other containers from this company which I am using with plastic containers that have not fallen apart, yet.

Arrived Cracked

I'm not really sure these are the best items to ship. I bought 2 and one arrived cracked from top to midway down all the way through. The other was in perfect condition, so who do you fault- the packaging or UPS. Trying to return this item would prove almost more difficult than it's worth so I'm going to try to fix it using epoxy resin repair and then turn the broken/repaired side away from view. Otherwise, the planters are nice. I haven't planted in them yet. They look and feel sturdy without being super heavy. The color is nice. The drain holes are a plus. I would buy again, but only if I found them in a local store. Shipping and receiving in one piece is definitely a crap shoot.

Loves these pots

They were delivered in perfect condition, well packaged, without any cracks as some people had mentioned. I did use miracle grow soil it's more light weight than regular soil. I just planted some young flowers.

Sturdy and As Advertised

Very sturdy! A little heavy but great for high wind areas. Well packaged - arrived in great shape. We have used them indoors but they would be sturdy enough for all seasons outdoors, too.

Didn't last a year

I loved the look of my 5 Kante 12x23x12 boxes. Kante has a warranty but it's not assessable nor a contact number. I purchased all the boxes last May and all of them are cracked all over. I'm afraid to touch them they will fall apart. 550.00 is alot for only a year of quality that you claim.

Great modern look

We used these as an anchor for our newly purchased pergola. We had pavers installed and didn't want to permanently attached the poles to the pavers, so instead we used these large planter boxes. We reinforced the bottom outside and inside with hardieback board, added sandbags inside and then decorated the top with smooth black rocks. Looks beautiful and the pergola stays steady.

this cracked the second day we planted it

these look great but one of them cracked two days after we planted it, so far it is ok but wonder how long it will last.
