EVERY MAN SHOULD OWN a pair of Keen Utility Men's Reno Mid Height
I am extremely impressed with the Keen Boots I bought. I'm a contractor so I'm on my feet a lot. Ive gone through so many pairs of boots because their lack of durability.Great boots for me as a remodeler, walking, kneeling and moving about all day. Very comfortable for all day wear. Holding up great! My feet don't hurt at the end if the day when I take them off. When I wore other boots, my feet would hurt after taking the boots off. However, these boots are very comfortable. I highly recommend this product.

Almost perfect
The media could not be loaded. I’ll start with the negative. This boot is only comfortable depending on which socks you wear. If you wear a normal hiking sock it feels like a dress shoe. It’s fine with a very thick hiking sock. I’m glad I was able to order the wide version as it’s perfect with a thick sock. Now for the positive. I’m not sure when I’ll ever be glad this has a carbon toe as I’m not wearing it as a work boot but if something did hit my toes I’m certain they’d be protected. I have logged five 6-mile hikes in these boots thus far. I’ve been using them in the rain. The grip on muddy trails has been pretty good. In some muddy areas the boot still slips but it remains stable and I’ve not fallen. My hiking poles help. On gravel and rock they perform great. Steep inclines and declines are no issue. Just a couple days ago I went out in the pouring rain. It was one of those Northern California storms where it’s sunny for 20 minutes then it’s a deluge and you’re being pelted with hail. It was perfect for testing puddles. There was a good one on the trail during a brief sunny moment so I’ve attached a short video of that. The boot stayed dry walking thru that puddle twice, plus many other smaller puddles. The only time my feet got wet was when it splashed into the back of the boot and got it a little wet that way. This would have been prevented had I worn my gaiters. Overall it’s a nice boot and I’ll be using them on rainy days. On dry days I use my Altras as they’re so much lighter and more comfortable but not waterproof at all. For reference I’m 6 ft, 180 lbs, in my 60s, and I hike 5-7 miles every day. Elevation gain is usually 1200+ ft.

Nice
Fits good. Only problem was the ankle fit. If you snug the boots up, rubs your ankle and on a long hike, that's an issue. For daily wear, the ankle thing is an issue. So, I don't lace up the last to eyelets and the problem goes away. Good looking boots, and will wear. Not a good value for your money, with the ankle problem.

Really liked these work boots
So I really liked these work boots. They were comfortable, easy to put on and looked nice but they only lasted about 2 months before going bad. Something inside the soul ripped or failed and It would make this horrible squeak with every step I took. It wasn't a quite one either it was noticeably loud whenever I took a step and I couldn't deal with that on job sites or inside customers homes.

Flexible Sole: A Keen 1027103D Men's Reno KBF Mid-Height Utility Work Boots Review
The Keen Men's Reno mid-height utility work boots, made in China, are designed for the industrial athlete. Features include a waterproof membrane, non-metallic construction, oil and slip-resistant, electrical hazard protection, KEEN.BELLOWS FLEX flexibility, and ReGEN cushioning. I initially wore these boots at home for a few days to break them in. The collars start a little stiff, but these boots are comfortable to wear from the start. No matter how I moved, the boots remained comfortable. Older waterproof membranes trapped heat, but my feet never overheated in these boots. The Keen Men's Reno mid-height utility work boots s look great and are comfortable for all-day wear. They have the safety features needed in a workplace. If you work on your feet all day at work, these boots are an excellent purchase. ► PROS: Carbon fiber toe Oil and slip-resistant Protects against electrical hazards Non-metallic construction KEEN.ReGEN cushioning midsole provides a 50% energy return with every step The KEEN dry waterproof, breathable membrane lets vapor out without letting water in KEEN.BELLOWS FLEX (KBF) technology for up to three times the flexibility Comfortable to wear ► CONS: None I could find

Solid boots. Built like a tank. Comfortable and are designed to be long lasting, but they're heavy.
I'm very impressed by the Keen brand. Didn't know anything about them until recently. I also have a pair of their waterproof hiking shoes and they've been comfortable and hard wearing, so from personal experience, they're a good reliable brand. Same goes for these waterproof boots. Solid protection for your feet and ankles because they have a really good hard shell around the entire boot to the point that even if a rock fell on them, I genuinely think you would avoid any injury, thus them being classed as utility boots for job sites, etc, but they do look good, so it'll be a shame to get them muddy and all scuffed up, but that's what they're designed for and I think they can handle whatever is thrown their way. They are heavy though, which goes to how well built they are, but your calves will get a workout wearing these all day. Small price to pay for your ankles and feet feeling well protected. Overall, they are comfortable to wear having good sole padding, and I ordered a 1/2 size larger, because I thought I could get away with it, which I was right. Normally I'm a size 10, so if you want to go a half size larger for heavier socks or just to give a little bit more room; you can. I don't really have anything negative to say about these boots. Yes, they're heavy, but for a reason and a bit more difficult to insert your feet into than your average boot, but they're stylish and they can have multiple uses. I can even see them used as a hiking boot due to being waterproof, well insulated and rugged. You won't be disappointed with these, so, no hesitation in giving these boots 5 stars.
