Do not use for interiors

I thought this might work indoors, but it is noisy, splashy, and it is not easy to know how much water to put in before it's too late and flooding out the back hole where you thread the pump cord through. This might not be a big deal outside, but it is too risky for an indoor placement. I have been working with and buying fountains for 30 years and I wish more of them were made better, so that you could also clean or replace the pump easily. With this Pillar Fountain, you have to unscrew the top pillar part from the base each time you want to adjust or do anything with the pump.
