Missing Hardware, but overall good.

I"ll start with the positives. I've ordered a number of Kingston Brass products in the antique brass color and have never been disappointed. Granted, they're pricier than a number of other companies, but the product is consistent and good quality. It's also very difficult to find antique brass colored bathroom accessories, and for my old house, it's the color I need to match the doorknobs and such. I've not been able to find actual antique brass color (it usually shows up and is a brushed gold or something similar) from any other company, thus far. It's worth the money. I've removed a star because unfortunately, this time, the towel rod showed up without the mounting hardware (specifically the brackets), and thus I've been unable to hang it. When I follow the directions for product help Amazon leads me to call Kingston Brass. When calling Kingston Brass, they shared that Amazon ships directly from their warehouse and I need to contact them. Of course, now I'm in a circular pattern where both companies tell me to contact the other. I know it's only a few dollars part, however I'm having challenges finding the correct mounting bracket elsewhere and it should not be this difficult to get the parts that should have been in the box to begin with, especially for such an expensive item. I can't hang the towel rod until I get the brackets.

Could stand to have a paper template. My only problem is that this item. is not lost in the mail, infact I have already installed it. Don't send any more at this time. Great product.

Nice Double Towel Bar BUT Difficult to Install

We like the double towel bar's appearance & functionality. Unfortunately, installing it required two people & much frustration. Set screws are on the BOTTOMS of the two supports at either end of the towel bars. They require a TINY slotted screw driver to tighten. If you do not get the installation just right, the supports can slip off the brackets. This may be a common method of mounting towel bars but it is terrible. Whoever designed this method of mounting towel bars should be doomed to struggle with the set screws for the rest of their lives.

The cleat may need a little bending and adjustment to allow the set screw to engage.

Good quality. The instructions leave a little to be desired and a template would have been nice. The product is good and solid and I would order it again, In fact, I think I will replace some of my other towel bars with this one.

No mounting hardware included

Seems like a good enough towel rack, but it came without the mounting hardware. I’ll have to try to find some separately that are the right size. What a pain.

This towel bar fits perfectly in my bathroom that was redone. The double bar holds two large bath towels very nicely.

Love the color and it has a nice, sturdy feel. Our old towel bar used to fall down on a regular basis- this one works beautifully and looks great, too!

I finally found a towel rack that has a good wall attachment system. This is great and easy to install.
