Best Investment

Small, compact and perfect for a small boat or kayak. I thought that the 1.5 pound would be too light for securing our boat but it did the job on a windy day, and the storage bag that it comes in is a huge plus. I bought it for my Kayak and ended up giving it to my husband for his boat. Easy to use and deploy!! Great investment!!

Perfect for use with a jon boat.

Anchor was perfect. It held the boat well while we were fishing. Cord was long enough but not too long to get tangled. A plus was the ring to hold the blades up while using it in high weed areas.

Updated review after losing an anchor. *Zip tie trick

**Updated review after 1 year:This is my second anchor. I lost the 1st one stuck in a rock. I strongly recommend using a zip tie on the anchor as shown on picture. Attaching the rope at the lower part of the anchor and installing a zip tie at the upper part. This way when pulling it when jammed on a rock it will detach itself easier. Go on Youtube and search for “Zip Tie kayak anchor how to”. It will save you lots of trouble and $. I used this anchor over 10 times already, both on my canoe and standing paddle board while fishing. It stays on the water floor quite nicely. I wouldn’t recommend using on heavy current rivers, but for minimal current this portable anchor is perfect for my fishing excursions.

Easy to use, handy to have, great for inflatables

I used the 3lb anchor to tether 2 inflatable kayaks fully loaded with 2 people in each and it held us well in wavy conditions. Planning on using it to hold my inflatable floating raft out off shore while we are using it. So far so good.

Just what I needed!

I got the 3 lb anchor for my kayak. It is heavy enough to anchor both me and a friend and was just what I was looking for. The bag is handy for keeping the anchor and rope together and stores neatly behind my seat.

Poor quality rope

I used this for the first time today and I am 3 days past the return window or it would be going back. The knot is holding but the rope itself is already starting to unravel and it was used in waist deep water for 15 minutes. I will need to replace it with something sturdier, not impressed.
