Love it

Love the easy tear function with heavy base

Well made but poorly designed

First, the ratchet mechanism is too tight... When you pull off a sheet, no matter how gently, it won't unroll without the whole thing dancing across the counter. So I took it apart and sanded down the nubs on the ratchet. Problem solved. Then, we learned that the knob on top is too fat to put on certain brands of towel, specifically Wegmans brand. If in 2020 you can manage to use only Bounty, then you're all set. Otherwise this thing just sits next to the paper towels like the shy kid at the prom. Update.. The top finial unscrews! After application of vise and strap wrench. Must have been assembled by someone with anger issues. So now I can remove it to put on my Wegmans towels. Too much time in the workshop with this thing.

Awesome and sturdy

Finally!!! A paper towel holder that doesn’t fall over when you tear off a towel. Sturdy and strong…I love it!

Very handy

This is a very nice option to a hard mounted paper towel holder. Sturdy, well weighted, makes accessing paper towels easy. The ratchet system is nice. The weight doesn't allow dragging the holder across the counter to pull the towels. It look good too. I would recommend

Well made and works!

Works! I had the simple human one before and in my opinion, this one is nicer and will last longer. It's weighted well, though I wouldn't mind a little more weight. Like the rachet design and the tear off aid. Easy to pull individual sheets.

Sturdy!

I really like this product. It’s study, it doesn’t move when pulling a paper towel off it. It’s exactly what I was looking for. It sits on my island during family dinners. Easy access for all to use.

Buy the right paper towels

this holder is very sturdy and stylish. BUT, make sure you don't buy the cheap paper towels, they don't fit. I usually get the Kirkland paper towels, but they are just too small and don't fit over the top nob. Bounty fits perfectly. I have not tried other brands.

Item does work well

The product is good but arrived dented. I could have returned the product but had to pay postage and it’s heavy so opted to keep. Disappointed by the seller for lack of response.
