Nice Accessories

Nice accessories to a Klein tester I purchased separately. These items won't be used often for me, as a howe user, but I could see them being helpful to a professional electrician. Worth the money & worth having in the tool box for those rare times I need to trace some home/shop wiring.

Good ad-on to the circuit breaker locator

If you need to find circuits for lightbulbs then this is a must-have accessory for the locator. With this, you can find the proper circuit for lighting. However, I have a hard time getting the locator to work well. I end up with too many false positives.

Good, but Klein got confused with the colors

The media could not be loaded. Quality of components are good, but the color coding of the alligator clips is confusing. They use black and red, which are both hot wires in your typical US home wiring. The red alligator clip / wire is connected to the neutral terminal on the receptacle. They should have used a white alligator clip for the neutral wire. Even Klein, themselves, got confused and messed this up on their marketing cover photo. They show the red alligator clip connected to a hot wire, and the black alligator clip connected to the white neutral wire (yet they wired black to their hot terminal on their receptacle). I would give this five stars if they used a white, instead of red, for the neutral wire.

Essential add-ons for the circuit locator

If you're tracking circuits in a whole home, these little add-ons are critical to have, to identify breakers for light fixtures, bare wires, or ungrounded sockets. Sturdy and easy to use.

Wondering about the quality of plugs

I always buy Klein products, never read reviews when products are from Klein, the crocodile clipped socket was built good but bulb socket and three prongs plug is cheaply built. I highly recommend Klein QA to look into the items and either upgrade its quality or discontinue this from your product portfolio. I didn’t return the item, I will try to use as long as plug lasts. Not value for money.

A great purchase

When I bought my house, their was no legend on my breaker box, so purchasing this tool made is easier for me to do it myself, instead of hiring someone else to do it. Was super easy to use, if not sure, theirs always YouTube to teach you how. But definitely the best purchase ever.

It’s useless.

It’s useless. Don’t need this. Just work with someone else to find the correct breaker. I wish I didn’t waste my money on these products that doesn’t even work properly.

Missing part

Well for some reason I did not receive the socket plug in my package. Not the end of the world I probably have one laying around somewhere. Point is it wasn't there and it's too much pain in the ass to return everything and wait for new one. I'll make do.
