Kinda high price

Not soft close. Sturdy. It does position your bottom differently than other seats. High priced compared to most seats

After reading an article about accidents in the bathroom due to older eyes not seeing curbs, edges of steps, and assorted things in the bathroom, including a white toilet seat on a white toilet, I bought this BLACK toilet seat. It fits perfectly into my black & white decor while being a nice visual contrast to my white toilet. Also, I believe that the open-front style is cleaner and, from that perspective, wish I'd purchased this style of seat sooner. Even though it was more expensive than any other seat I've ever purchased, I expect it to last a very long time. If that's true, the pro-rated cost may end up being less expensive. And in any case, the safety factor could be priceless...!

Expensive for the quality of the product. I purchased this toilet set as a replacement for the same model that I had for 14 years. The original seat was constructed of thick, sturdy plastic. The current version is thin plastic and feels flimsy. Also, the contour of the seat was changed which makes it less comfortable. Only time will tell how long the new one will last.

Matches my toilet

It’s ok. I bought this because the color matched my toilet. Same as the old one that broke after 9 years. But I’m a really big guy so it’s expeected to break with me using it.

It did not have screws to install and got some ...

It did not have screws to install and got some at Home Depot. It appeared that metal screws were not right and cause loose seat...I think plastic screws will work and still pending to shop for right screws.

Excellent Seat But A Little On the Expensive Side

Pricier than some but you get what you pay for. Have tried a lot of the cheaper seats over the years but this one is the best. This is an excellent seat for elongated toilet. Comfortable to sit on and open front aids with personal hygiene. Seems to be well made and is easy to install. Installed on American Standard Champion 4 Elongated. I would purchase again.

Believe I received a rejected or 2nd

Seat is not even close to the quality of the one I purchased for $63 from the plumber. This seat because it was open front was $143.00 - not quiet close, is a lot lighter (will probably break easily) and has a sharp piece of plastic on the back side of the lid. If I didn't have to have it, I would have returned.
