Beautiful sink, with some oversights by the manufacturer...
My husband and I bought a fixer-upper a couple years ago after we got married, so we are pretty handy and decided to re-do our countertops and replace our sink and faucet this past weekend. We did a retrofit of our 36" cabinet to fit this 33" sink (our previous sink was a standard drop-in 1970s style at 33", and with the apron front on this one the full 36" Kraus sink would have fit, but looked cramped as it would be directly next to the dishwasher). The retrofit was surprisingly easy (we found a great Youtube tutorial for a similar sink by Kohler for ideas). We opted to leave the sink edge slightly higher (1/2") than our countertop, and are very happy with the look. We haven't used it much yet, as we finished late last night and need a part for the faucet, but I wanted to leave a detailed review on the things we've noticed from our work over this past weekend in case it helps someone in the future: Pros: - BEAUTIFUL sink, and the accessories we got when purchased as a set (grids, drains, etc.) are very nice and seem to be very good quality. Looks awesome with our brushed stainless appliances and fits right in. - Edges are great-looking all the way around (note that the back edge only goes down about 2", not the full height like the sides and front of the sink, but this was not a problem when installed). - Love the deep bowls and the sizes of each. - The sink was packaged securely in styrofoam that fit it very well, and it reached us in great condition. No crate as previous reviewers mentioned. - From our initial tests (have to finish the plumbing), it seems it will be relatively quiet when the water is running. - The rear-mount drains are great and gave us some space back in our cabinet for cleaning supplies - a welcome bonus! Cons / Things I hadn't realized from product info and other reviews: - Fingerprints show easily, but seem to be pretty easy to clean off as well. - NO INSTRUCTIONS! The 4-page leaflet was inaccurate (some drawings are correctly the 33" sink as marked, but interior shows 36" measurements instead?? Very strange. We got the correct one off Home Depot's website thankfully, but the one in the box was wrong!) The leaflet only shows some dimensional drawings and future care instructions, and just says to have it professionally installed. Um, okay. - NO hardware to secure the sink to the cabinet or anything else. We're figuring out how to do this ourselves, but thought it was very odd there is nothing included at all. We are using some basic bolts and washers to try and secure it, but it's a bit of a challenge due to the shape of the bottom of the sink -- very little to attach to! - The "cut out template" provided with the sink is a large piece of cardstock with rounded edges. Note that it is NOT the size of the full sink at all, but rather is only for under-mount installations and was therefore completely useless to us for over-mount or flush-mount installation types. The template makes no mention of the fact that it only fits the bowl sizes of the sink, and not the full measurements. No other templates were provided. We also felt this was a little strange, but the measurements and angles are very straightforward and we managed to cut our laminate countertops without too much trouble. Bottom line -- Very glad we bought this sink, and it absolutely seems worth the money. However, we wish the manufacturer had put a little more thought into their materials (besides the sink itself) -- definitely could have used at least some warning about the bad instructions, template and no hardware! I'm hoping that by writing this, some of the problems may be fixed in the future, or at least other buyers will know what they will get up front!

A week old & already scratched
We bought the Kraus KHF204-33 sink from Amazon as we couldn't find a farmhouse steel sink locally. This sink is huge -- we had our cabinets built by a local craftsman so we could have wood & he did a marvelous job creating a place for this sink. I will use the larger sink for entertaining & the small one for the two of us. There are many good things about this sink -- it seems durable and while we wish it was better cupped for drainage we understand a steel like this cannot be designed in such a matter. It comes with marvelous drain plugs designed for the home owner. I've faithfully used the metal grates sink came with which is a great idea -- I don't know if I should hang hooks in my lovely new kitchen for them to air dry because if the rubber is damp upon laying down it leaves a very nasty looking spot that can be rubbed out. I will carefully watch these rubber bottoms on the grates to ensure no future scratch or rust. Now we have had the sink in place a week and it is sadly scratched which is why I posted photos -- the granite is being laid this week. I simply want other buyers to be aware this stainless is not as durable as stainless made even ten years ago. I am an active person & I keep my diamond ring in a drawer so no harm comes to it but I've already spent more time shining this sink that my ring has had. I'm certain the scratches could be rubbed out with a light pad but it's a new sink -- what if I scratch it worse. I would have liked the make to provide a name brand pad that works great at removing scratches. ( The maker of product has made huge advances in this sink over the years as you can see by the other recommendations -- the model we purchased does not appear to have some of the issues of earlier sinks listed previously. I say thank you to Kraus for listening to the audience.)

It’s ok
It’s very spacious, but there’s zero incline into the drain so I have to use a soft sponge to get debris into the drain (garbage disposal) , every time I rinse dishes.

Amazing
It is sturdy, and beautiful. Bigger than it looks. Totally happy with it.

Beautiful ????
Beautiful sink, but I haven’t install it yet, kitchen Reno delayed ☹️, but looks nice and heavy, all parts complete, no delays and well packed. Happy with the purchase ????...ok now I have a month using the sink and I must say it was sooo easy to instal on a 30” ikea cabinet, it will rest on the sides with some modification. Out side of the sink is 9” and inside is 10” deep. Sink is very sturdy, and rack that comes with it is very useful and for sure you will need a pullout sprayer in the faucet to reach the corner to clean the sink. It worth the money I’ll never go back to double sink btw. Ah not sure whats the reason for it but no more mess on the floors or getting the cabinets wet while doing the dishes, I think is all together: single large sink, under mounted and the fact that is apron. Highly recommend, hopefully keeps the quality over the time .

Beautiful Farmhouse Apron SS Sink
This is a beautiful stainless steel farmhouse apron front sink. We bought all our kitchen appliances stainless steel and then ordered this to match. The results were very good. We've had lots of compliments on the sink itself. This sink we found to be the perfect size to accommodate large pots and pans and had enough depth to make sure we weren't getting dirt and splatter jumping out. The sink has proven to be quite durable too, after two years of heavy usage (lots of dinner parties and big pots) we haven't noticed many dents or scratches. 16 gauge SS is very good quality for this application. The accessories that come with it are quite nice as well. We've been using the dish grid that came with it ever since we got it and don't think we could go back to not having it. It's really good for separating the dishes from the mess below. The dish grid is of pretty good quality and through regular cleaning hasn't shown any degradation. The towel is okay, we don't use it with the sink as it looks a bit cheap compared to the sink but hey it's a freebie. Pros: Great looking SS sink with apron front Good size width and depth for large pots and pans Good quality with 16 gauge SS and the sound dampening advertised does seem to work Easy installation Cons: It is a bit pricey now, I bought it two years ago when it was around $400
