Great learning interactive toy

Keeps My Son's Attention But.......

There is a lot of information on the map. It is a great learning tool and keeps my 3.5 year olds attention. The reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is that you have to touch the word rather than the picture for the locations.

Great interactive toy and educational

Great interactive toy. The touch map works well, and I haven't found any glitches with anything. Great quality product and very informative. My kids love pressing the buttons on the map and playing with the little games that are on the map. My 6 year seems the most excited about the map and playing with it. It is a great toy, and my kids love it!

Good Learning Tool

When you hang a map in a child's play room, it really helps them learn their geography. I ordered this interactive map for my granddaughters, ages 4 and 7. The seven year old likes to read everything she sees, so I'm sure she'll gain a lot of knowledge from this map. Her little sister likes to push buttons, this map has that too. You can even play games.

Good interactive toy

LeapFrog Touch and Learn World Map is very nice educational toy. I have 3 kids (2,4 and 6), and it seems that my 4 years old daughter is the most interested in this toy. The toy is well-made. The volume and the sounds are not too loud, nor irritating. Pictures are bright and colorful. The map is interactive and teaches a lot of different things like continents, countries, oceans ans different animals. Phrases are not too long and are appropriate for kids.

Another great product from LeapFrog

My son owns several products from LeapFrog, including the A to Z Learn with Me Dictionary and the Learning Friends 100 Words Book. These books have really helped to expand his vocabulary more quickly than other children his age. Recently he started showing an interest in geography. I bought a jigsaw puzzle map of the USA for him. He spent hours putting it together and then taking it apart and putting it together again. He now knows the names of all 50 states and many of the capitals. So I thought this LeapFrog Touch and Learn World Map would be the perfect Christmas present for him. I can't wait to see the excitement on this face when he opens this on Christmas morning. This map will help him learn more about the whole world. LeapFrog makes the best products I have seen to keep young children engaged in wanting to learn. I know my son will be better prepared than most of his peers when he goes to kindergarten next year because of these fun educational product that he has spent so much time with.

So much fun!

My 2 year old loves this pad. It's probably too advanced for her, although she still loves pressing all the pictures of animals. I can see her getting much more from it by the time she's 3. It's sizeable and colorful, able to be hung on a wall or used on the ground. Easy to clean for small spills. Only gripe I have is that it's the mercator projection and not a true depiction of the continent/country sizes.

fun way to learn!

The world map arrived on time and in good packaging. It can be used as a gift to a little one who enjoys learning. It is a great way to learn about the world. It keeps the children busy but also teaches them something. The buttons need an extra push but other than that, there are no issues. It works best on the floor. Overall, great product. Would recommend.
