Great learning tool

Great for teaching kids about money and how to count change, highly recommend for children learning the basics

Just get it

If you have a toddler that loves to play store- buy this. It is well made and sturdy, this will last through a couple of grandkids. The calculator works and the drawer pops open with a jolt - so if you don't catch the drawer, be ready for a couple pieces of the plastic change money to go flying - It does not hurt when you catch it, it is just fast. The drawer doesn't come out of the register but it does come swooshing open when you hit the button. i assume the spring will calm down after repeated use. It comes with a "credit card" that beeps when you run it through the credit card reader and enough money to really play with and learn math. The machine makes all the little sounds. It's great & is just a super little toy. My granddaughter loves it. I would buy again but wont have to because it seems like it is going to last.

Could be better

It’s a cute, functional register. I liked this one because it has a real calculator. The drawer pops out at full force and coins tend to fly out which is annoying. Also, not enough space for all the bills to have their own slot so bills of different amounts end up on top of each other. Also, you need to be careful not to lift it up/ sideways after coins and bills have been put in because they move and get stuck inside the machine and then it’s impossible to get them out.

Granddaughter loved it but the money is thin paper.

It’s a great toy but I had to laminate the bills. They are just thin paper and wouldn’t have lasted a week against a two year old. Besides that she loves playing store with it

Nice cash register

Comes with a good amount of paper money and coins. Only complaint I have is what many others have said, the drawer comes out very fast, causing some of the coins to fly out.

Learning and fun

This is a good learning and fun toy. Teaching the value of money. My granddaughter loves playing like she's working in a retail store.

Pink cash register works right out of the box!

This came out of package ready to use. Solar was already activated, just pulled the plastic tab out of the battery area on the bottom of the register to activate the sound. I’ve had this sitting in the dining area which receives daylight only, no direct sun and the solar has been working fine although the numbers are not as bright as I was expecting. I can see them but a back light would be nice. Each number is about 1 / 2 inch tall and 1 / 4 inch wide. When it is left on for about 6 minutes or so with no use it shuts off automatically. This is VERY light weight. It needs to be placed against a wall otherwise it slides when the drawer is being pushed closed. When it is not against a wall, when I push to close it, the drawer stops about 1 /4 inch away from the base of the register. I have to hold the sides and push it again, sometimes twice to get it to close completely. This doesn’t happen when it is against the wall. I agree with the other reviews about the drawer opening fast. You do need to put your hand in front of the drawer cause the coins will fly out each and every time if you don’t. The card swipe beeb sound also works when you use a gift card or other type of debit / credit card. The calculator displays 4 digits when the last number ends in something other than zero. If it ends in zero it only displays 3 digits. $3.50 shows as $3.5. When the last two digits end in zero then both zeros drop, $3.00 shows as $3. This is a Christmas gift for a 2 year old and almost 5 year old, just wanted to try it out to make sure it worked.

I like the built of it. It’s not cheap not flimsy. I find there’s a flaw when opening the register. The slow comes out with so much force that all the coins fall out. Super annoying

Perfect for the "pretend" shop

Bought this for my granddaughter's bakery shop. She is so proud to swap her "baked goods" for money and ring the purchase up on the register. Love how the bell rings as the drawer is opened. Number buttons are large enough for chubby toddler fingers to use easily, and the working calculator is a learning tool for older children. Only downside was I had to hunt out toy money which was relevant to us as the supplied cash was in US currency.

Me llego bien protegido, en excelente estado. La pantalla funciona con luz solar, es como una calculador. sin embargo usa una pequeña pila de reloj (ya incluida), supongo para el sonido que hace al apretar las teclas. Los billetes son "dolares" al igual que las monedas.
