Great for Halloween!

I bought this for Halloween, and tried it on an hour ago. It fits great! I have a rectangular frame, and the billowing skirt gives you a tiny waist and wide hips. It's very flattering. The costume is also cute and classy looking. I had to dock one star because: 1. I think the hat is a little too small. I struggled to fit it around my head. 2. The skirt is on the shorter side, and since Im bottom heavy this was exaggerated. But, I bought the petticoat, so my backside is completely covered. 3. The belt is also a bit cheap and mediocre looking. But it can be easily trimmed and fixed.

Super cute, good quality for a costume.

This costume was a hit at my Halloween party. It is well made for a costume. There is no stretch to the fabric and I was ordering close to my event so I sized up just to be sure. It was a little loose in the top so I could have stayed in my size range and been fine I think. It was a bit shorter than I thought it was going to be, especially when putting on the belt to take up the slack in the fit of the top but pairing it with the petticoat took care of that and gave it a nice fullness. I am 5’6”, 200lbs, typically wear a 14-16 in dresses, and 38 DDD for reference. The fabric was slightly scratchy but not terribly uncomfortable. I was able to wear it for several hours without feeling too uncomfortable. The hat didn’t fit down on my head, I can generally wear child size hats, and there wasn’t an easy way to pin it down, it did fall off a few times while walking or if I walked in front of the fans at the venue. All in all I was very happy with the costume. Looks as described and arrived when it was predicted to. I added the gloves, petticoat, wig, and stockings.

Cute!

Fits great! Really cute! Based on the other reviews, I expected it to be too large. I'm only 5 ft tall and 112 lbs but I'm really glad I ordered the Large size anyway. I think Medium would have been too small. My only complaint is that the three decorative buttons on the front were sewn on crooked, so I had to move two of them to make a straight line, and also, the belt is extremely long. I think it may be for a Santa suit. I have a belt that looks great with it, so no problem. I got a short, puffy crinoline to go underneath the skirt, and the outfit is adorable!

Hat is too small.????

Overall the costume is really cute and I added a very puffy petty coat underneath and it looks good. Only thing is the hat. It’s very small for me.

Hat doesn't fit

Very cute costume. Belt runs big & doesn't have a strap for it, so it just hangs. The hat also doesn't fit on my head; it kind of "sits on top" only. The belt I can deal with, but the hat is not functional except for taking a picture in it.

Pretty cute costume! Just needs a few accessories!

Alright folks, since height and weight really tell us nothing, I'm gonna give you my actual measurements so you can get a better idea of how it will fit you! Chest = 38", waist = 32", hips = 43", height = 5'10", cup size = A or B (depending on bra). I ordered this in a Large. This comes with the dress (which has a zipper on the back so it's easy to put on), a witch's hat and a very low-quality belt. I paired it withFakeface Women Bridal Evening Party Wedding Wrist Length Gloves Black andVintage Women's 50s Rockabilly Tutu Skirt Petticoat Black(L) and some OTK socks from Sock Dreams to make the look a bit cuter! (I really wanted to go for that frilly mahou shoujo vibe.) Let's talk about fit! As you can see from my photos, I let the petticoat peek out beneath the bottom of this dress to give it a little more length. On its own, the dress was long enough to cover my butt, but just barely. Without tights, I wouldn't have wanted to wear it alone. The rest of the dress fit me very comfortably, including the sleeves, which I had been worried might be tight or restricting. The hat fit good and stayed in place pretty well (and also kept it's shape pretty nicely). The belt was MUCH too big for my waist, so I ended up folding it in on itself to make it stay in place. The quality is about what you'd expect from a Halloween costume store: the skirt wrinkles easily, the buttons aren't perfectly even, and the fabric is a little bit scratchy. But for something I wore only for a couple hours? It was perfect, and I'll definitely be pulling it back out to wear again next year!

It was so cute!

Extremely cute costume.

I love this costume. It's inexpensive but better quality than the average Halloween costume. I ordered based on the size chart and the dress was too big. I belted the waist but the bodice was and ill fit, but the arms were roomy. Next time, I will size down, or at least order the size based on my upper ribcage.

ITCHY

The overall look is super cute, but holy hell is it ever ITCHY! Unless you're going to cover the seams with other fabric to prevent the irritation or something underneath, you're going to be uncomfortable wearing it the entire time. I barely had a sleeve on and it was uncomfortable. I thought and hoped it was the angle, but nope. Quite literally all along the top of the dress where the mesh-like material is stitched in is itchy. It's a big ol no for me.
