Sort-of works
Was told a hub was necessary to connect to Wifi, since it actually uses RF to connect. How quaint! Dimmer itself is passable - not great. Seems like it was designed 20 years ago.

Stuck in Beta
I had a lamp which I wanted to be able to dim with alexa. After searching Amazon I came across two such devices, both from large names in lighting. The other device I tried from Leviton worked well but was missing one KEY feature, it would not dim the lights. This product from Legrand has a multitude of issues. Current issues are as follows, errors when sending commands through alexa, always receive the response from alexa that something has gone wrong. Constant disconnection regardless of wifi strength. Very difficult to reconnect to the legrand app, it constantly fails during "onboarding". The reason I still have the product and have not returned it for a refund is because there are no other options for a plug with dimmer and alexa compatible. The only positive about this product is that the customer support is strong. Support did state that they had recently switched cloud providers for their smart home automation and are still in the process of transitioning the services along with certifying their products with the "alexa certification." Bottom Line: Product is literally in beta test, hoping future updates to their infrastructure resolve the multitude of issues.

Couldn't get it to link to the app
I got in touch with customer service just when COVID was starting, letting me know that I was unable to link to it using their app. The rep told me to update my app, since that very same day they were releasing an update. Didn't work. Tried contacting them again, no response. Tried all the resetting methods they have in their site, even deleting my app and downloading it again, and nothing has worked. I thought I could trust a brand like Legrand; really disappointed. Now I guess is is out of the return timeframe and I have a big manual plug-in dimmer. I have six other devices from three different companies just in my bedroom, so I'm familiar with smart devices.

Disappointing
I read in a review it was HomeKit compatible and after installing I find out differently. The app took a little bit to find in the App Store and I had to download a couple before I found the right Legrand app. It dims so I guess there is that but it’s got a lot of lag between the slider on the app and the actual dimming. I have to say this is getting returned. It only took all if 10 minutes to figure out this was a bad buy. It really feels like the KMart of dimmer plugs.

Are people this bad at tech?
The app doesn’t find the plug 9/10 times but a app closure or two usually does the trick. It is the only dimmer plug I could find that’s 3 prong so BIG UPS to legrand. It serves its purpose. I actually married this to another smart plug because my LED light strip wasn’t turning off completely.
