Used for pond - tough works great with 1.5" plumbing fittings

I used this to run a big two pond / stream / waterfall setup. While it was running at full pressure I accidentally ran over the tubing with an 8600lbs mini excavator and the tubing was completely unblemished! It is super strong and thick with an internal coil running through the wall to prevent collapsing or kinking. It is fairly easy to cut with a hacksaw. You can add splices or T's to it using PVC pipe or galvanized pipe fittings at the local hardware store -- just buy 1.5" diameter and it fits inside of this pipe (this pipe is 2" OD, 1.5" ID). Use STAINLESS hose clamps (plumbing aisle of hardware store) to secure the fittings and it works great, even at high pressures. I also bought a 1.5" PVC ball valve fitting, which is a nice way to fine-tune the flow.

It's an honest 50' ft. of tubing!

It's a little redundant but they shipped 52' plus a little of tubing, may not be like winning the lottery but it's nice when they make sure you're getting the full amount. Anyway bought this for a waterfall return line, as I've tried a few times with rigid PVC. This tubing makes it easy to just run the return with the waterfall itself. Once less hole through the liner. Works great, oh & when received I laid it out on the driveway to relax & straighten it first. Steve

Hard to keep straight

Sturdy product but impossible to straight out makes it really hard to couple with another PVC

Very Sturdy

Very good, sturdy tube. Do to it's size and thickness, it is obviously difficult/impossible to bend around corners. Make sure your run is fairly straight.

Hose is of nice quality. It's reinforced but smooth outside the look of which I prefer to the ribbed. Just to be clear this uses regular glue-on fittings - not the barbed ones with the retainer clamps.
