Bright & Cheery!

Relatively easy to install, plan on an extra set of hands to help attach the bowl though! This light is amazing and with (4) 75w soft white lightbulbs, it makes our prep area bright as day in the kitchen! I absolutely recommend it! My only initial concern was whether it would sway with the ceiling fan, or a strong breeze through the windows, but it seems completely secure. And beautiful!

Looks nice --- very poor quality

These fixtures look attractive in pictures but they are made of low quality materials, poorly engineered, and look cheap in person. They are set up in a way that makes it quite difficult to change light bulbs. Due to the curved glass the bulbs have to be sited higher in the fixture which causes ceiling glare.They are sold by and of the low quality of big box home stores. As a contractor I would rate these below contractor grade.

Model 4275-07: Attractive, Decor-Neutral Style with Lots of Light

I am very satisfied with this light in terms of appearance and light output. The most visible part - the swirl-frosted glass - was attractive. The "Bronze" finish on the fixture is sort of a matte or semi-gloss rust/brown color. It's not super high-end but not unattractive either. Regardless, the fixture sits so close to the ceiling that the hardware is barely visible. Bulb it to your taste; I installed four 60 watt-equivalent (800 lumen) 3,000k LED bulbs which really lit up the room. Using a ladder, installing bulbs was not a particular problem: there was sufficient room to fit my hand between the ceiling and glass. Plus, there's "give" in the fixture due to its suspended design. Instructions were basic, but covered the process in the correct order. A diagram says to hook white-to-white and black-to-black, but the fixture wiring is brown lamp cord with no discernible markings or ridges. It's A/C current so connection doesn't matter on the fixture portion of the circuit. Installation was relatively easy - the trickiest part was holding the glass bowl as close as possible to the ceiling while attaching the hooks. Note: I recommend "dry fitting" the rods between the bowl attachments and fixture on the floor before installing. This gives you the opportunity to adjust rod length as-needed beforehand - not while trying to hold everything atop a ladder. I started with all hook ends spun all the way on (then turned out as-needed so the hooks on both ends point in the same direction.) For one or two rods I had to spin out a hook a little to make the connection.
