Gap 2 Pack Bras

I ordered these and my first thought upon opening them before showing my girls was that they were extremely soft. I saw the huge tags in the bras and cut them out immediately because I know my daughter will complain. She felt the bras and tried them on. She said they're comfortable and she has worn them numerous times at this point. Her only complaint is that sometimes the straps feel a bit itchy. I can kind of see how they would be when I look at them. Overall, the bras are very soft, comfortable, sized right, and are a great value for 2 bras. The perfect way to introduce a girl into the training bra world.

So soft, but too many tags!

This training bra is so close to being perfect, but they messed it up with those big old tags that GAP often puts in their products. Some of their clothing is lovely and tagless, but this bra is not. And if you remember that were talking about a training bra for girls who are not used to wearing bras, and who are already probably sensitive, then it's a real head scratcher why they couldn't avoid these tags. I'm really torn on what star level to give this. When my daughter first saw these, she squealed. And her initial reaction was that she loved them. The material is so soft and they are initially so comfortable. And they lie nice and flat without being tight, in a way that doesn't create obvious bra lines under clothing (which can also be a big deal for girls first wearing training bras). As far as visibility (as in, not being visible) under clothing, while also providing some level of protective padding, this bra is by far the best we've tried, and I've ordered at least a dozen different brands and styles for my daughter to try out. Oh, if only she didn't start complaining about the tags after a few minutes of wear! I did my best to cut them out (always a challenge, because you don't want to rip a structural seam, but she still complained of itchiness. Truly in the first few minutes before the tag discomfort kicked in, I thought we had found the absolute perfect training bra for her. Nothing else was so soft and protective and also invisible under clothes without being too tight. Dangit Gap - Think it through better next time. Big chunky tags on a training bra? If your kid is not tag-sensitive, this is a perfect bra. If your kid is tag-sensitive, this is no good.

More for training than actual use

I bought size large for my 70 lb almost 8-yr-old and it was a little big, but that's okay, she doesn't need much actual support yet. I have two issues with these one is, as others have mentioned, these should really have the type of tag that is printed inside the fabric rather than big tags. The second issue is that the lower band is pretty thick. It's very visible under her shirt. So it's okay - I think next time I'll go for a microfiber training bra.

Great first bra for a girl!

Soft and comfortable for girls new to wearing bra. These fit her perfectly and she told that they are very comfortable. The bra keeps her still looking age-appropriate, which I like the most! The price is fair and they wash well too.

Comfy fabric itchy straps

I sized up on these, because she doesn’t like them to be really tight around her torso, and they seem to fit her the way she likes. She says the straps are not as comfortable as other brands that she owns so we went and looked and she prefers Hanes and Wonder Nation to the straps on the gap bra. The under stitching underneath is itchy, but I do like that they’re adjustable because she definitely needs that. The tag inside the front of the bra is a bit ridiculous, I’m assuming it’s meant to be cut out just by the way it’s attached. The material is nice and soft, double layered on the front, single in the back. She says they’re comfy, aside from the straps.

Comfortable

These GAP Girls' 2-Pack Basic Bras fit my 12-year-old daughter perfectly. She finds them to be quite comfortable. Because she is tall for her age (5.7), the adjustable straps come in handy. These bras are insufficiently supportive for sports. However, my daughter likes to wear these to lounge around the house and to go to school.

Good quality trainers

These trainers are nice and wash well. My daughter says they are comfortable and work great under any shirt.

Girls 2-Pk Bras

This is a a nice basic bra with adjustable straps and a stretchy band that isn't too tight. It is a soft and comfortable cotton that fits well, so I'm hoping it won't shrink once it's been washed and dried. Only negative would be the tags, my daughter complained about itchiness after wearing it for a few minutes, so I had to cut them off.
