Putting it together is annoying but is a very good swing

We replaced a tire swing because it started fraying. We chose this because we already had a long cable wrapped on a branch and wanted a new swing that only needed a single rope/cable. I was surprised at how heavy the box was. Also I should mention the product is shown on the box so my son saw it on the front porch. To assemble it took me over an hour. I’m very handy! The design is decent but it just wasn’t easy peasy. There are 4 green curved pipes that make up a circle. A seat goes between the two bottom pieces. A handle between each side piece. A mega bolt between two top pieces. Lining up the holes and getting the smaller bolts attached was a pain in the ***. A few screws didn’t want to go in all the way without being forced and it was not because they were crooked. I pulled them out and tried to screw them in without being in the pipes and it’s because they had a slight defect that prevented them from turning smoothly. I eventually got them tightened all the way but needed better tools and strength. The strap for hanging is seatbelt material and felt strong. All of the annoyance I felt was gone when we hung it and my son started swinging. He is 10 and loves to swing but is growing up so it was nice that it looks like it’s for older kids. We did not attach the ribbons.

Came all banged/scratched up.

Came damaged and just left in box. Annoyed at the moment and don't feel like putting up or trying to send back. I waited too long to open the box as it has been raining and no reason to put up.

Swing itself has held up after 3 months of mild use in the shade but the strap broke.

As some reviewers have said, sometimes the tubes don't want to fit together during assembly but we didn't have to drill new holes, fortunately. We used the included strap (think thin seatbelt material) to hang it under a tree and a 98 lb kid has been using it, almost daily, to just slowly spin while reading books and listening to music. Yet in only 3 months, the strap suddenly broke and sent her to the ground. The strap broke up near the tree, so one end is still connected to the swing, and the other end is still hanging from the tree. THANK GOODNESS she wasn't spinning fast or high, and thankfully she's never done any tricks like hanging upside down. Probably would've broken her neck. I'd contact the seller and ask for a replacement but I don't want another strap - it's garbage. In contrast, the rope on our Swurfer has lasted 5 years so far, and it receives much more sunlight and more aggressive use by kids.

Have a step drill bit handy.

I bought this after seeing it in the heart song catalog for twice the price. My 10 year old daughter is a sensory kid and loves this swing. Although it is sturdy it was poorly manufactured. The holes do not align and I had to drill the handle holes larger. I also bent and almost broke off the plastic ribbon D rings on the handles in an effort to fit the tubes together. Another note: if you want the swing to spin well you will need to buy a swing swivel that has bearings in it plus a few carabiners, the swivel included just won’t cut it. We already had a swivel because we have a collection of swings, so we were okay there. Regardless, if you are not handy I do not recommend you buy this swing.

Fun, comfortable hoop swing and my kids love it!

My kids love this swing and it’s very well made. The bracket and strap to hang it is very sturdy. The handles are comfortable for my kids hands and at a good height for them. The seat is also a good size and seems comfortable. I do wish there were more color options, but my kids are happy with it and don’t seem to care about that. Been outside now for a few months and holding up to harsh weather pretty well.

Be careful

The kids love it just be careful it's very heavy my daughter has a huge bump on her forehead it got her pretty good in the face and my nephew got hit in the face also and it knocked his tooth out and put a huge hole in his lip within 5 hours of us hanging this up just giving people a heads up of how heavy and how much damage it can do

Great swing for all ages.

I purchased one to hang in my front yard when my grandkids visit. It's so popular, I bought a 2nd one. It is great for all ages. My grandchildren, ages 3 - 18, all love it.
