Very sturdy!
This would have been a 5 star rating, but the clearance for the window was only about 1/4". Fortunately, I was able to use the ends that I need to cut off as shims to get the clearance i needed for my screen/window. In the end, I was able to make it work.

Great to keep the dogs off the screen
I bought this to keep the dogs from tearing up my screen door when they are outside. Very easy to install. There is a bit of a gap between the grille and the edge of the door. The puppy can get her little paws in there, but the bigger dogs cannot. Overall, I love it and they have stopped tearing up my screen.

Seems sturdy
This seems sturdy. It fit my door just barely, despite measuring. However, the side gaps are indeed large enough for a cat to get through. I think I can easily add another vertical bar to help with that, but that should have been included really.

Great
This guard is great. He can't scratch on the scream any more or slide the door open. Now he tips and paws the other patio door. It also looks nice on the door.

It keeps your dog from ripping the screen on our door
It’s noisy when the door closes

Drilling instructions are not correct
As you can see in the two photos step #3 instructions called for you to drill 9/16” pilot holes for the mounting screws. As the photo shows a1/2” or 8/16” drill bit below the mounting holes on the mounting bracket. Obviously the drill bit is Much too large for the mounting holes. The instructions should call for drilling 9/64” pilot holes! If someone has a 9/16” drill bit and drilled a pilot hole that big the screen door would be damaged and would need to be repaired or replaced! Fractions Matter!
