My new favorite!

WIth hair that lies somewhere between wavy and curly, I can never quite find the right product to help me avoid frizz on the one hand, and the wet crispy gel effect on the other. I prefer a curling cream as they usually make the curls softer and seem to do a better job managing the frizz. Some creams are too sticky, and some can't handle the frizz. With this one, I apply and comb through while my hair is still wet and let it air dry. My hair tends to look shinier, curlier, and the curls themselves are softer and bouncy compared to other products I've used. It smells great! This is my new go-to curl "lotion."

Does what it says

Love how my hair comes out and it’s not sticking. My hair can go a number of days without washing. Use dry shampoo when it looks oily. Then you’d probably have to wash it the next day. I just sprayed water and scrunched it, still looks great. Would recommend.

I love it! Wish I found sooner!

This lotion is great! It's very light and smells good. I think a lemony scent. I don't smell it in my hair once it dries which is a bit sad lol. I live in hot humid dry Florida and have kinky frizzy hair. And I'm almost 50 years old so my hair isnt as nice as it used to be. But this stuff curled my hair great. I let my hair air dry except my bangs which I like to blow dry and straighten a bit so they don't curl in different directions. It's not crunchy once I comb it out with my hair pick. I also use black seed oil for weekly treatments in my hair if you need some extra hydrating love for your hair.

Good quality

Bought to use before diffusing my hair. My hair is super thick and almost down to my butt. It was a great product, but I returned the diffuser so I returned this as well.

Great for wavy hair.

Got this because I need to swoon girls with my curly brown hair. Not strong enough for my curls. Makes hair super soft, but it is very light weight and the curl definition does not last. Would work great on wavy or light curled hair

First time trying the curl defining lotion

The packaging was simply a bubble wrap bag winch isn’t my personal favorite for the type of product but it arrived safe. The perfume smell is very strong so if you don’t like odor in your product I don’t recommend it. It is a good size for the price. I still have yet to try it on my hair as it’s currently very humid and hot. I want to see if it will hold my curls in place. I currently use the cult cream by Marc Anthony but it doesn’t keep my curls so I will try using the curl defining lotion to see if both are a great pair. Update review Love the application process because it’s on wet hair which means that I can apply it right when I’m done cleaning my hair. The products dries a little hard to let you know it’s working. I personally like it alone.

good for the price

a little goes a long way with this product! when i use too much my hair feels gross like i’ve put a pound of gel in it. im one of those unlucky people with a F-TON of thin hair strands, so i knot/mat up super easily. this product did not help in that area! there is a coconut version of the strictly curls cream that i found one time in store that i liked way better than this one. the smell, texture, and feel of your hair is just overall better with that one.

hadn't worn gel or anything on my hair for a while and my hair changed to looser curls but after trying this on ( I did put too much ) the front hair spiraled into beautiful and tight ringlets.!! This product worked magic on my head!!!

Horrible Stuff

I always used the same stuff but it a white lotion this is yellow lotion and just ruined my hair leaving it dried out and had and course. I normally have nice natural spiral curly hair and soft & fine.

Hate it.

I purchased Marc Anthony Strictly Curls Curl Defining Lotion, 245ml, after reading such good reviews on line. I have tried it 3 times now, on my curly hair. It has not made a difference on my curls. The only thing it has done is make my hair feel greasy and weigh it down. Unfortunately it has been a waste of my hard earned cash.
