Nay, my blue suede shoes are not to be stepped on. These were a classy and affordable option for shoes that are a bit more interesting than your average sneakers but less formal than more oxfordy type shoes. the design is also fairly classic-- neither hokey nor too structured, fairly close to something like Reeboks or Tigers, so I expect they'll age fairly well. SIZING & FIT: Marc Joseph tends to run a bit large. I have fairly high arches and a normal enough foot that fits most men's 11's, some 10.5Ws, and, on rare occasion, the 11.5. I bought an 11.5 in these and they fit pretty well. They're long front to back, but the sides fit pretty snugly, which suggests that these might actually run a bit small, especially if your feet are wide. The only thing I wouldn't feel comfortable doing in these is running, but I wouldn't run in these anyway cause they're too pretty.

Nice Shoes, Great Price

I saw these shoes and thought they would look nice with jeans, the price was reasonable, and even though I did not know anything about the brand, I ordered a pair. They arrived and I was impressed with their looks and with their overall appearance. The shoes are very lightweight, even in size 13. They run true to size and are comfortable even though they are not heavily padded. I have worn them twice now and like the way they look and feel. Two slight negatives are that the soles are “plastic like” and slippery on smooth surfaces and the laces, which look good, are very difficult to keep tied. Overall, I am pleased with the shoes and would recommend them as a reasonable alternative to much more expensive dress casual sneakers made in Italy or Spain. They are not as plush but sure are fun for everyday wear.

Color is not correct.

I really like the shoes: very comfortable and true-to-size. All indications are that they are well put-together. However, I want to highlight to other potential buyers that the "Navy Blue Suede" arrived almost a "Robin's Egg Blue". The picture of the shoe's color is very misleading. I decided to keep the shoes and apply Filson's Boot Oil to them. So now they are a "medium dark blue" (still not "Navy Blue"), and the suede is protected from water.

Runs a bit large, but decent quality

They are pretty standard fashion sneakers in form and quality. The leather uppers are good quality thick construction, and the soles are like any skater shoe or fashion sneaker. They do run about 1/2 size larger than what they list. I consistently wear exactly a 43 in EU sizes (which is the length of your foot in cm). Their chart lists this as a 10US, which isn't unusual for US sizes of my shoes. In this case the 10US actually corresponds to a 44-45 in EU sizes.
