My 11yr old son is very happy with his bat.

Heavy for “youth”.
As someone who knows the sport it always makes me laugh when they size bats to ages by its length. Nothing worse and more unproductive than a kid using a bat that is too heavy. This bat came in at 24 ounces. Yes, I weighed it. You decide if your kid can handle it. As for the grains, they were very thin but that’s expected off the shelf.
