Uno Redux

This is a fun remix of Uno. The concept is that you will intermittently be able to unlock additional play options during the game (the “Flex”), leading to yet still more glorious unpredictability and chaos in your play. The rules are a bit complex, as the flex options vary card-to-card, but their alternate capabilities are printed on each card. In practice, we had to keep the rules sheet handy the first couple of games, and play would slow when we were trying to make sense of our new options, but once we got the hang of it, we all enjoyed the fresh injection of unpredictability into the game. Extra bonus points for accessibility - each color is now coded with a pattern to allow those who are color blind to play, which is extremely awesome.

Another Uno version!

We've been getting uno versions since my kids were little. Even though they're 29 and 24 now, thought we'd try this with them for nostalgia's sake. The first game we played we had to refer back to instructions about the cards quite a few times. Once you get the hang of it though it's pretty easy (like all Uno's are!) Just has a few added twists. Think it's pretty good for all ages when you just want a simple card game!

another fun Uno variation

Like everyone, we love Uno, especially all the fun new versions of the game. Uno Flex is another great version (along with Flip and Dos) that gives another challenge to the game. Be sure to read through the rules really well and give a few practice run throughs to get used to the game. The hardest part we had to remember that the card played during Flex only affects the person playing, not the next person! We play a lot of games as family and with friends, so our kids (9 & 12) did not have any issue catching on to the game. They liked this one a lot better than Dos, although that one has been my favorite for awhile. I wish there was a short hand description of the meaning for each card instead of the cumbersome directions page, but I'm sure after playing more, we will remember easily. Fun game

I played with a 10 yr old, a 9 yr old and two 8 year olds. As soon as we learned the new rules and cards it was a blast! I recommend this for any u o lover to play at least once. It has a fun twist to it that other uno decks don't have. Very satisfied with this game.

Step up your [Uno] game

If you're looking to switch up your Uno game, this is really fun! The learning curve of some of the new playing options takes a few games to get used to, but it's easy enough to learn and has quickly become a fan favorite during my game nights. This is great for road trips or vacays where space is premium as it doesn't take up much space or weight and the metal case will keep the cards in good shape if chucked into a suitcase jumble. Overall a win from me!

You can never go wrong with UNO

You can never go wrong with UNO. This is family fun for most ages. It takes a little while to adjust to the new rules from the standard game. What I really like is the tin case. Cardboard boxes get smashed and unusable to the point we have no where to put the cards and then they start getting lost. I have zero complaints about this new game!

Great variation on a classic

This is a fun variation on Uno where each player has a flex card that can be used to change how a selected card is played. For instance some cards have a flex color and be played as an alternate color when you flip over your flex card. Or a draw 4 wild, can make all players draw 2 when you use the flex card. The cards are excellent quality as you would expect from Mattel. They shuffle easily and deal very nice. If you enjoy the original Uno game, you will like this one as well. It's a great price for a card game. Highly recommended!
