comfy, but not great durability
This is the second time I have bought these. The first ones were large (I don't have very big hands) and the seams blew out the same one the ones in the picture did (size XL). They are very comfortable, just not very durable. First pair lasted me around 2 weeks before they started falling apart, the second pair made it about a month before blowing out the same way. I deliver packages. With the way people talk about them, I expected a lot more out of Mechanix gloves. I bought some $12 fingerless, tactical, cheap chinese gloves that are going on their 2nd month now with no issues yet. Even still has some texture left on the palms for gripping stuff.

Good Buy
Despite getting extra large, at first they were hard to take off. They are broke in now and it’s not a problem. Good buy on my part.

Great workout gloves
This is my second pair. Took 3 years to wear out my last set using for work out gloves 4/5x a week. Great gloves.

For cold weather wrenching...
For working in a cold shop I wish they were warmer, but they ARE a big improvement. Thanks!

Saved my hand.
As a delivery driver moving freight in a big city, these things are my BEST tool. I've lost count of how many times these little guys have saved my knuckles. Recently had an incident that placed my hand between a VERY heavy dumpster and a metal pole. Had I not been wearing them, I absolutely would have broken my favorite hand. Still wanna use your fingers, and gain the ability to punch a walk-in door shut? I never want to work without these again!

Solid Gloves, but So So Smelly
For the price, these are pretty solid gloves. They fit true to size, they're comfortable, and they have just enough padding to protect your hands. They're versatile and normally I would give them five stars. But they just smell so bad. I'm not sure if they normally smell this bad, or if it is just the pair I received, but it is bad. I'm accustomed to weird rubbery or plastic smells for a few days, but I took these gloves out of their packaging and let them air out in front of a fan for a full week and they still smelled like horrible skunk butt. So I rinsed them out with some plain cold water. I know that is probably not good for the material, and I know I can't return them, but I was really hoping it would help. They have fully dried out and aired out for another full week and they still smell terrible. Since they are gloves, I use my hands a lot and if I ever touch my face or take off my glasses or hat, every single time I am reminded of how bad they smell. Even after you take the gloves off, your hands still smell awful until you wash them with some strong soap. If this company can work out the smell issue, I would give these gloves a full five stars, because they are awesome in all other aspects. I'll probably even still try to use them sometimes, but I can't fully recommend them to anyone who has a functional sense of smell.

These are hardly tactical, I work as cameraman and wanted something for rig and de rigging shows :(
Top side of glove is good with M-pact rubber and mesh stretchy bit. My issue is measured for Large and that's what I ordered and they are to small. So size is inaccurate. My main gripe is the issue with underside material of glove, the part that is going to get most wear and tear, this material is flimsy and the stitching up to finger section looks like 10 goes around it would start falling apart. I work as a cameraman and bought these to rig and de-rig, which mean pulling down scaffolding, heavy equipment and pulling large looms of cable. Its hard to imagine these would last past couple of jobs. Shame as aesthetically the look business, but think I'd be better off buying some fingerless bike gloves. If Mechanix wants to give me a pair by all means. Shame as I wanted to like them

Great
A great pair of gloves; as you would expect from Mechanix, they are really well made. I'm an engineer and the only gloves I've found that are durable and tough enough to last more than a week are those made by Mechanix - this is the first time that I've bought fully finger-less gloves I normally lean towards the finger framers but these are comfortable, they don't restrict your movement, dexterity is still great in them and they are hard wearing. The only thing to watch out for with them is that they do come up a little smaller than other brands, I got a large pair which are very fitted on me which is what I need, but if you are normally well fitted into a large or prefer a little extra room, go for an XL in the mechanix.

Mechanix fingerless gloves
This has to b my 5 th pair?? Stitching seems to wear on the palm pads. Tightening up battery chucks wears them out a little. These have lasted me 2 months . I normally get longer but these have been through their pace lately. I was going to buy a similar product a little cheaper as i pay for my gloves and not the company i work for, so was looking at price. Last minute decision and closely looking at reviews on other product i decided to reorder what i know best. As mentioned before on reviews order up a size to your normal. Im medium but get large as medium rub the top between my fingers.

comfortable to wear and great hand protection...
Use these when out taking photos... keep the hands fairly warm but an unforeseen and very welcome feature is the extra protection on the knuckles and fingers which allows me to rest my hand holding the camera/lens against hard/sharp surfaces to take pictures...

Good quality
I used their guide and i got a glove on the internet that actually fitted, not too small or big especially hard when the manufacturer over sizes or under. Shipping was fast, really fast Gloves feel amazing going to use them for driving as I drive a van around the south east, gonna be a lot nicer plus warmer to a degree no pun intended.
