Favorite book

This is now my toddlers favorite book. He goes out of his way to find it and have me help him count. He is learning to count, say pop, make animals sounds, & learn animal names and this book helps him do just that. I love that he can interact with the product while learning. My son is also speech delayed and this book has been extremely helpful in getting him to say new words. I will say that at first some of the “dots” wouldn’t stay pressed down but after a few tries they popped and stayed down.

It is a wonderful book. But.......

I have purchased probably 10 of these books over the years. Give them away as gifts to friends and family. This purchase I had the chance to use it with my grand baby. Some of the pops won't pop on every page and they certainly don't pop near as loud as the first few books. And I don't know why but I don't remember this book being so heavy. I have one old one at home in the play room for my neighbors when they visit. I love this book. I will not return it but hope Melissa and Doug will do some quality checking. They are a company I readily use for children learning.

My 16 month old LOVES this book!

This book is great for toddlers. Books can get boring when they’re younger since they have a shorter attention span but this has things they can do while you read to them. My son loved pushing the dots while I counted the animals. The animals are all super cute and helps also teach them to count.

My Two Year Old LOVES this book.

My two year old loves this book. We get to the last page and she immediately goes back to the beginning. Over and over and over again.

What a great idea!!

My 15 month-old absolutely loves this book. She wants to read it over and over again and I actually haven’t gotten tired of reading it yet. It’s such a fun way to learn counting and the pops are very satisfying! The book is very well made. I was concerned that I would have to go back through the book and “un-pop” the pages so she can read it again, but this is not the case! When you pop the bubbles on one page, it “un-pops” them on the previous page so you never have to go back through and set it back up. So smart! I bought another book as a birthday gift for a 3 year-old and she loved it enough she stopped mid-opening presents to pop the bubbles????

Lots of interactive fun

This book is beautiful. The popping buttons are well made and lots of fun for your little ones. The book is a bit on the heavy side and the spine wore quickly and eventually ripped with regular use by a toddler

All around good quality and idea, but has a few cons

Pros and cons for this book. Pros: my daughter loves to poke the dots and it keeps her busy and occupied for a while. First con is that it’s quite heavy!! Not something that would be easy to travel with unless your little one is sitting for sometime. She will be 2 soon, and it’s difficult for her to carry around. Second con is the second pop outs are quite loud, like bubble wrap popping loud. So be aware if you have other little ones I could imagine it waking up another child close by. All around good quality and idea, but I’m sure there is a way to make it not quite so heavy and a little less loud

Great book

It’s a great book my grand daughter loves it but as other reviews have said the binding does tend to break apart

“Pop pop”

My 18 month old loves this book. Sometimes we do the actual reading with the pops and sometimes we let her pop away. It keeps her entertained and adds some excitement, we often hear a repetitive “pop pop” when this book is in hand.
