Fun gift for kids!

My niece turned 4 recently and has become very crafty and curious about lots of stuff. This was one of many gifts I got her to try to keep her occupied and encourage her creative side. She got so excited and happy about receiving them. Her mom was appreciative of the size of the beads, theyre not so small that they'll be hard to work with or get lost easily. We have had good luck with Melissa and Doug toys though, they always seem to be a better quality.

Beautiful Jewelry Kit

Four year old's birthday gift. She was very excited to receive and and started that evening making jewelry. She had her pre-school photo taken wearing the necklace she made. Parents were happy with the gift too. They are trying to get their kids into crafting, and gifts that make a child think and use their hands to learn a new skill.

Very cute. I purchased this as a gift for A 6year old. And overall Recommend. Melissa & Doug products are the best! I bought the 2 pack & glad I did as I felt the package is smaller than expected. It does say do not separate so I’m wrapping and gifting as is. I would have liked to individually wrap them because 1.) not a fan of that big yellow sticker & 2.) it’s more fun opening two presents, but, I don’t know 100% what the package looks like if I take off the plastic wrap.

Good entertainment for an afternoon

My daughter got these as a birthday gift last year, but she was only 3 and I thought not ready yet for the activity. I just had a baby and needed something to entertain my older daughter for an afternoon, and this was just the ticket. She and my mom sat down for an hour or so and made several necklaces. My mom even figured out a way to twist the string in order to shorten it and turn it into a bracelet. My daughter enjoyed herself so much, we decided to purchase these to gift to a friend who was having a 4th birthday party. I like that the pieces are large enough to put through the string and it really encourages creativity. The only downside is that once the necklaces are made, there's not much else you can do unless you undo them and redo them. It'd also be nice if it came with different size strings to make matching bracelets to go with the necklaces more easily. Still, it's a good activity and the price is reasonable.

Big variety

These 2 sets were a big hit with our grandchildren aged 3 and 5. The cords are fairly thin but presented no issue for the 3 year old though parents had to knot the end. The beads are in a durable box BUT (and this is why only 4 stars for packaging) THERE IS NO LID!

Developmentally perfect

This kit is so well designed for kids who are still developing fine motor skills. The beads are pretty and easy to mix and match. My only complaint is that there aren’t more beads and strings in each set. In other words, these kits are so good, I just want more!
