Sturdy and safe!

I have been running a tablesaw for years for various woodworking projects and was just introduced to the GRR-Ripper a few months ago. I this extension improves the versatility and enhances safety when ripping cuts close to the fence. Highly recommend for beginners and experienced alike.

Micro jig

Eehhh, if your mass production on thin items running close proximity between fence and blade these are handy but $120 for this conntrapulas erector set which should come assembled I really don’t think a fairly seasoned wood worker needs it. I’ve made all my push handles and jigs before and for safety but I guess I just wanted a new expensive toy I didn’t need

increased stabilizatoin

I like this add-on. It helps push the work against the fence. Easy to install and easy to set note when I set it I turn the work piece on its side and turn the fixture 90 degrees to the work surface. This is a procedure that is needed when doing long work pieces where the blade of the table is in the way.

A "must have" foe the gripper

This adds so much more versatility to the gripper device. I wish I had just ordered it all together though. It's more expensive as an add on... even still, I wouldn't not have it. Highly recommended.

Nice addition to my Micro Jig GRAK-404 GRR-RIPPER

Few years ago I got standard edition of the Micro Jig GRAK-404 GRR-RIPPER thinking that this additional kit is unneeded luxury. Now, that I have it I see that I was wrong. It is one of those items that you not needed as often as standard Micro Jig RIPPER but when you need it - you need it. Safety first!

Improves Safety Features of GRR-Gripper

Same high quality components as the Gripper. Allows you to rip wider boards on the table saw while maintaining active control. I used the new Gripper features in this kit to act like a feather board while routing narrow stock on the router table and it resulted in more consistent and even shaping by allowing me to keep the material down on the table and up against the router fence from the beginning through to the end of the work piece. Love this whole concept and am saving for a 2nd Gripper and attachment set.

Overpriced, & expensive and considered how they are made (injection moulding) their profit margins must be super. So why buy then? Because it is Micro Jig - well designed, well made, ergonomically 'right', superb video's and literature and a joy to use. So I await my next purchase of further overpriced and expensive products from this excellent company. Recommended.

Never been so disappointed!

I recently took delivery of a 'GRR-Ripper Woodworking Pusher.' Great item for pushing lengths of wood through a table-saw. It is well made and thoroughly recommended - except for the simple fact that it arrived incomplete. This meant I had to purchase this 'Upgrade Kit' which arrived earlier today. Basically the kit completes the 'Pusher' by adding a 'Stabilising Plate' - for which there are 2 x long bolts, 2 white washers and 2 x screws. They all fit nicely, look strong and it's easy to see how they work. The second part is described as an 'Adjustable Spacer with Mounting Hardware.' EXCEPT for the simple fact the screws which are supposed to hold the item are the wrong size and do not fit the built-in screw holes. As I said, it only just arrived today - so I haven't dealt with the problem yet. What a shame I had to give two ONE STAR reviews to what really is a 5 Star product. Best wishes. NM
